The Community Day for the month of March will featureGeneration Seven’s Fire-type starter, Litten! This Pokemon has a striking shiny form. The Community Day event will also feature an exclusive move and some additional bonuses for players to enjoy!

Catching A Shiny Litten
Shiny Litten should be out en masse during the Community Day celebration onSaturday, March 16! Pictured above are the shiny forms of Litten and its evolutions, Torracat and Incineroar, so players know what to keep an eye out for during their hunt. Once players secure a shiny Litten, it can be evolvedinto Torracat for 25 Litten Candyand then furtherinto Incineroar for an additional 100 Litten Candy!
If players evolve Torracat into Incineroar during the event (or up to five hours after the event), the Pokemon will receive theexclusive move Blast Burn. This is aFire-typecharged attack that deals 110 Power, a hefty sum,especially against Grass or Ice-type Pokemon!
Community Day Event Bonuses
Every Community Day event gives players a long list of bonuses that will populate in the game during event hours. These can range from bonus XP, double Candy, cheaper trades, and more! These are always an impactful addition to the Community Day celebrations and sometimes outshine even the featured Pokemon for their usefulness. A full list of event bonuses that players will receive during the Community Day can be found in the bulleted list below:
Bonus Raid Battles
After the Community Day event ends,Torracat will appear in four-star raid battles! Once these raids are completed, not only will players have the opportunity to catch the Torracat, but Litten will spawn in large numbers around the gym where the raid took place. These raid battles will be around from5 pm until 10 pm local time, so it is a great opportunity for players to catch a few additional shiny Litten!
