PlayStation Plus Is Removing Eight Games In September 2025
On September 16, the following eight games will be pulled from the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog:
There are a few standout names in the bunch, especially Pistol Whip. It’s no secret that Sony has slowly backed away from PSVR2 support, as interest in VR as a whole has waned. Still, Pistol Whip is an amazing shooter, especially for those who love dual-wielding guns.

The Plucky Squirewas a game with a lot of hype, but itsuffered a lot of complaintsbecause it was too easy and held the player’s hand too much. Fortunately, the game has since received a Challenge Update, making it a lot more challenging.
The August 2025 PlayStation Plusgames are available now, but they’ll be sticking around for a while. Anyone who wants to try out the eight games on the list has a little under a month to do so, before they’re gone.
