Tom Holland will soon be swinging into the Marvel Cinematic Universe again to do something neither Tobey Maguire nor Andrew Garfield got the chance to do – a fourthSpider-Manfilm. As we wait to see what the team comes up with this time around, we have to agree that Tom Holland has come a long way in his career. Even though he had dipped his toes into the film industry before, he gained worldwide fame thanks to his appearance as Spider-Man inCaptain America: Civil War.It was only onward and upwards from there.

Once underpaid in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the actor has now gone ahead and created history with his production company ‘Billy17.’ Tom Holland’s company has signed a deal with Sony Pictures, something which no Spider-Man actor has done before. It only makes us wonder – will Billy17 also be attached toSpider-Man 4? If so, fans best believe this film will be incredible with Tom Holland’s input!
Tom Holland’s Billy17 strikes a deal with Sony Pictures
Launched alongside Harry Holland and Will South,Billy17is certainly close toTom Holland’s heart. Billy17 has signed a production deal with Sony Pictures. The newly launched production company is already making waves in the industry as it currently has a few projects under its belt (viaThe Hollywood Reporter).
To start things off, the company will take on the original project Burnt, which is set to be written by Rodney Rothman. While the plot details haven’t been revealed, the film could be a potential starring vehicle for Tom Holland.

Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield Will Play Spider-Man For One Last Time: Secret Wars Will be More Emotional Than Avengers: Endgame If This Prediction Comes True
The second film Billy17 is working on is the adaptation of Graeme Simsion’s novel,The Rosie Project. The production company is also joining hands withSpider-ManproducerAmy Pascalto bring Teddy Wayne’s novel,The Winner,to life.
NeitherTobey MaguirenorAndrew Garfieldhave managed to pull something like this off. Speculation states that there is a good chance Billy17 will attach itself to the upcomingSpider-Man 4and if that turns out to be the case, Holland will have much more say in what happens with his character and we honestly cannot wait for his creative input.

Expect the next Spidey film to also have his production company attached. Really a no-brainer bit of info but it’s a good sign because I don’t think any Spider-Man actor prior to Tom has had this much say in the direction the character gets to go and that’s saying something.https://t.co/AxLVoZvYA0
Earlier this year, Holland revealed to Deadline that this was“the first time in this process that”he’s “been part of the creative so early.”With Billy17 by his side, who knows where he could take the film?

Tom Hollands talks about Billy17
It goes without saying that Holland is extremely proud of the work he has done to bring Billy17 to life. He and Sony Pictures obviously share a deep relationship and working together to reach new heights only seems fair.
In a released statement (via THR), the actor talked about his successful partnership with Sony and added how it was the perfect company to kickstart Billy17 with.

From earning a modest $250,000 when he first grabbed the spotlight inCaptain America: Civil War(viaJust Jared) to now owning his own production company that may or may not be attached toSpider-Man 4,Holland sure has come a long way!
