The Weapon doesn’t feature any meta traits. However, if you don’t have enoughStarchrome to purchasebetter weapons, the Scorched Earth will serve you well during farming runs.
The gun synergizes with Elemental damagegear sets likethe Shelterer and Blackstone sets.
In harsh temperature conditions, you may lose HP, and to counter that, you can equip the Burn mod that heals your character on each kill.

Trigger Fortress Warfare after 7 hits (cooldown 15s)
Recover 4% of max HP per second in the Fortress Warfare area
Weapon damage +25% when HP is above 75%
Another weapon that’s good for solo runs. The Fortress Warfare has a better animation, and you can clearly see the areawhere you can receive healing.
With a high fire rate, you don’t have to worry about the effect of not being able to trigger.
The weapon rewards you for maintaining a high HP, which isbetter in PvE scenarios,since you don’t have to stack damage reduction, which is usuallycommon practice in PvP scenarios.

Shots have a 27% chance of triggering Burn
Shots have a 20% chance of generating a Deviant particle that can help you enter a Charge state.
Consume all Charge stacks upon reload to add Dragon’s breath effect to ammunition until the next reload. Attacks deal Blaze elemental weapon damage equal to 85% attack (Burn damage bonus applies) in the effect.
Each charge stack used increases Blaze damage by 10% up to 4 stacks.
I wouldn’t want to be at the front of this weapon. The weapon’s core effect relies onreloading to boost the Blaze and Burn damage. Once you’ve collected the Deviant particles, you can reload the weapon to trigger its passive effects.
The damage fall-off is visible when you hunt long-range targets. However, the ACS12 weapon series packs a serious punch for close-to-mid range.
The Lightweight Style calibration is a good pick on this gun.

That said, Light Machine Guns require tuning for long-range precision since their continuous fire increases the recoil, unlike Assault Rifles, which often don’t have a big magazine.

Frost elemental damage +60%, plus an additional 20% for each shattered Ice crystal, for 10 seconds. (15 stacks)

The Frost Vortexes are invaluable for crowd-controlling hordes of Deviants. In challenging content like the Zone Of Haze or LEA Research Lab, you need weapons that have high DPS or apply crowd control on incoming waves of enemies.
