Baldur’s Gate 3 Made History by Winning All Five Major GOTY Awards
2023 will be remembered as one of the greatest years in gaming history. Several titles went back-to-back for the GOTY, which is the grand prize that all games are after. Like every year, there is a game that reaches the top and makesall the other competitors lose:Baldur’s Gate 3.
This IP was brought to life thanks to the amazing work of Larian Studios’ talented people. With its latest game, this studio made history by accomplishing something that no other game could. The popular title has just won the BAFTA award for Game of The Year, making history.

The community helped get to a virtually perfect game, and thanks to the Early Access release ofBG3, Larian Studios could make real changes and mold the game. Fans helped the studio reach a level of perfection and commitment that no other title could accomplish, which resulted in all kinds of awards.
The RPG has a lot of work behind it, with original mechanics like dice rolling, cinematics for almost every NPC encounter, and amazing combat gameplay. Larian Studios successfully achieved its goal of creating the most immersive role-playing experience in recent gaming history.
This is a niche title that has reached a new audience that knows how to enjoy this kind of game. and the level of design is not easy to get. The studio has already confirmed that it is working on a new IP that has nothing to do with previous genres that the team has worked on, like RPGs.
According to the CEO, this new game will have details that the studio has never made before, such as a new style, combat, and other things. There is no more information about this, but it will not beBaldur’s Gate 4, Divinity Original Sin 3, or even an RPG.
