Kathryn Newton Wants Cassie Lang To Move On From Ant-Man

One of the most humanizing parts of Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man is his love for his daughter Cassie Lang. A young version of the character was played to perfection by child actress Abbie Ryder Forston inAnt-Manand the sequelAnt-Man and the Wasp. After the Blip i.e. the snap of Thanos that occurred inAvengers: Infinity War, Lang grows up and meets her father, who has been stuck in the Quantum Realm. She was played by Emma Furhmann.

Fuhrmann was replaced by Kathryn Newton in the threequelAnt-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, where her heroic side was explored more. Lang grew to be an activist who helped victims of the Blip while also working on a device that established contact with the Quantum Realm. Her device opens up the Quantum Realm, pulls in the gang once again, and sets the events in motion.
