It is no surprise that theNintendo Switch was the “winner” of Black Friday. As the newest console on the block, and a great lineup of first-party titles now, Nintendo’s latest console is a must-have. What was maybe unexpected was how well it actually sold, as the Switch had its best week of sales ever in the U.S. during the Thanksgiving week.

According toBussiness Wire, from November 24-30, the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite sold a combined total of more than 830,000 units in the U.S. This achievement can be partially attributed to the Nintendo Switch Lite’s recent release, making it the newest version of the console to hit the market. The standard Nintendo Switch also had some deals during Black Friday, including a bundle that includedMario Kart 8 Deluxefor no extra charge. Thanks to this past week, Nintendo Switch sales have now reached 17.5 million units in the Americas.
