What Does Echoes of Wisdom Mean for the Zelda Timeline?
The official description from Nintendo on the Zelda history page forEchoes of Wisdomreads as follows:
After Princess Zelda was captured by Ganon, the swordsman Link appeared before her.

After a fierce battle, Link defeated Ganon, but

Mysterious rifts appear all over the vast Hyrule, swallowing
not only Link, but everyone and everything in Hyrule,

even the King of Hyrule and his entourage.
