Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion’s Feud Has Gotten Ugly
In her new song,Hiss, 28-year-oldMegan Thee Stallionseemingly called outNicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty for being a registered sx offender for the attempted rpe of a woman in 1995.
The lyrics though don’t directly mention any names, but refer to the Megan Law – a US federal law that requires information about convicted s*x offenders to be made public.

“These h— don’t be mad at Megan, these h— mad at Megan’s Law,” Megan Thee Stallone rapped. “I don’t really know what the problem is, but I guarantee y’all don’t want me to start.”
It took no time for Nicki Minaj, who immediately went on Instagram Live and reacted to the line by directing a diss towards Megan Thee Stallion.

“Bad b—h she like six foot, I call her Big Foot/ The bitch fell off, I said get up on your good foot,” she rapped.

And social media platforms like X (Formerly known as Twitter) and Instagram were flooded with talk of the growing feud between the Houston-raised artist and fellow rapper Nicki Minaj.
Hiss, which is co-produced by LilJuMadeDaBeat and Bankroll Got It, is the second single set to land on Megan’s third album.

Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenny Petty, is a registered sx offender and pleaded guilty to the attempted rpe of a teenage girl in 1995. He was sentenced to 18 to 54 months in prison and is listed as a level two registered s*x offender in New York state. He served four years behind bars for the assault.
In 2019, he broke his probation by not registering as a s*x offender in California following his move from New York, leading to legal action.
Recently, he has been ordered to observe 120 days of house arrest after he violated his probation terms by posting what seemed to be a social media threat directed toward Offset.

Petty was put under house arrest after he “was recorded on video making threatening remarks to a specific individual while in the company of someone with a criminal record,” according to a Central District of California court order shared byThe Hollywood Reporter.
The couple got married in October 2019 and share a son.
