The energy, motivation, and positivity of Naruto as a character are some of the reasons why he is considered one of the best-written protagonists of all time. However, even Naruto has some tags and allegations that he has never been able to beat even after so many years. One of these allegations is that rather than focusing on fighting, Naruto acts like a counselor.

The character has always had the habit of understanding the pain and suffering of his opponents and helping them come to terms with it. But in doing so, Naruto takes away the excitement and the thrill of a fight, which is not something that is loved by a lot of Naruto fans. In fact, he is even trolled on the internet because of this.

While some fans believe that this might be Naruto’s way of avoiding a fight, others believe that he actually might be misunderstood. His intentions might be to avoid a fight, but it certainly is not for the reasons that fans think.

The Hate Towards Naruto Because of His Talk No Jutsu

Ever since Naruto’s first battle against Mizuki, the character has shown a kind of compassion towards his opponents. Instead of entering head-on in a battle, Naruto has often tried to understand why his enemies chose the path they are on. And in doing so, he has often changed their minds, allowing them to make reparations for their deeds.

While this looked noble in the beginning, some fans got irritated with Naruto constantly taking the path of righteousness instead of using his power to fight. Thus, theycoined the name talk-talk jutsuor “talk no jutsu” for Naruto’s wise habits. This gained a lot of traction within the fanbase, and fans started recognizing it as an official technique.

Using this technique, Naruto took down a lot of major antagonists, like Nagato, Obito, Gaara, etc. He even used this technique on villains like Madara Uchiha, Zetsu, and Kaguya Otsutsuki but it didn’t work. However, the longest victim of Naruto’s talk-talk jutsu was Sasuke Uchiha, who finally had a change of heart.

Naruto’s Actions Have Been Misunderstood For The Longest Time

Although Naruto has been trolled for his habit of avoiding the fight and using words to persuade his opponents, fans might have never understood what it actually meant. Ever since he was a kid, he had to go through the troubles of life alone, and on top of that, his entire village discarded him because of the monster inside him.

Thus, whenever he fought someone who had felt the same pain, he related with them and assured them that they were not alone in their suffering. This was one of the central themes of the series.

Because of his sympathetic nature, he never wanted anyone else to feel what he had to go through. Instead, he wanted to make them understand that they could overcome it just like he did.

Being a series about a ninja universe, it is understandable for fans to expect more action and fights, butMasashi Kishimoto’sintention with Naruto was to show that even though he has the strongest of powers, he would still use his pain and suffering as a weapon to stop others fromcommitting sins that he avoided.
