The previous episode of My Hero Academia focused on the battle between Deku and Lady Nagant, as well as Lady Nagant’s back story. Although she was currently a villain, Deku made her realize that she was still a hero in her heart. Moved by his words, she divulged All For One’s whereabouts, and Deku was enraged to confront him. Now the upcoming episode, titled “Friend,” could see Deku leaving all of his fellow Heroes behind and going to confront All For One alone.
What Happened Previously On My Hero Academia?
The episode opened with two villains cornering All Might; however, his will to protect Deku left them astounded. On the other hand, Deku planned on approaching Lady Nagant, but was shot by one of the bullets. He then realized that she had been given one more Quirk by All For One. He then released Smokescreen and Fa Jin’s ability to catch her. Fa Jin warned him of his ability as he was unaware of how to use it, but Deku managed to trick Lady Nagant using the Quirk. He then asked why she was working for All For One despite being a hero.
She revealed that she was an assassin, sent on a mission to take out the corrupt Heroes and villains from the system; however, after some time, she couldn’t handle the blood on her hands and decided to quit. But, when she contacted the president, he threatened her, and she killed him in retaliation. She suddenly pointed a gun at Chisaki and shot. Deku used Fa Jin’s power to get faster than the bullet and removed Chisaki from the path.
Deku finally managed to defeat her and asked her to join the Heroes again, but she exploded due to the failsafe kept inside her. Hawks arrived on time to rescue her, after which she revealed All For One’s location. In the meantime, Endeavor arrested Chisaki, and Deku promised him that he would follow Lady Nagant’s promise if he apologized to Eri. The episode ended with Deku being enraged at All For One.
