The recent events in theMy Hero Academiamanga have revealed that the series is on the verge of its end. The two main characters Izuku Midoriya and Shigaraki Tomura are involved in a battle that looks like the conclusion of the series. Kohei Horikoshi’s masterpiece has truly entertained anime and manga fans for years.

As the series is reaching its conclusion, there are still some mysteries that are yet to be solved in the series. One of the most important ones among them is Izuku Midoriya’s father. The series has spanned over 400 chapters but Izuku’s father has still not been revealed making him probably the biggest mystery of the series.
Multiple theories talk about Izuku’s father, but almost all of them majorly point to All for One, the antagonist of the series. Although he died recently in the manga, it doesn’t change the fact that there are a lot of evidences that prove that All for One might be Izuku’s father, the best one being Horikoshi’s love forStar Wars.

Kohei Horikoshi’s Love forStar WarsIndicates All for One is Deku’s Father
HardcoreMy Hero Academiafans might know that Horikoshi is a bigStar Warsfan. He even drew aStar Warsposterfor the Weekly Shonen Jump. Not only that in an interview, he even revealed that Gran Torino, an important character fromMy Hero Academiawas inspired by Yodafrom theStar Warsfranchise.

There is a theory on the internet that states that All for One shares an uncanny resemblance with Anakin Skywalker or as he is popularly known: Darth Vader. Both of them cover their face and just like Darth Vader, All for One also had a troubled childhood, but he decided to change that quite early in his life. Both of them also shared similar goals in life.
Not only that, even Izuku shares a resemblance with Luke Skywalker. Both of them got hold of their powers a little late in the story and when they did, they decided to use it for the good of the people around them. They both are determined and brave. All these similarities between All for One and Darth Vader, and Izuku and Luke point towards All for One being Deku’s (Izuku) father.

Other Hints inMy Hero AcademiaThat Prove All for One is Izuku’s Father
Not onlyKohei Horikoshi’slove forStar Warsbut there are other hints that prove All for One might be Izuku’s father. The first and most important one is Izuku’s ability to unlock the full potential of the One for All quirk. The quirk was first discussed by All Might who was believed to be the best user of the quirk. However, when the quirk was bestowed upon Izuku, he not only unlocked its full potential but was also able to communicate with the Vestiges.
The best possible explanation for this would be Izuku’s genetic connection with the creator of the quirk, which was none other than All for One. All for One accidentally created this quirk for his brother, Yoichi Shigaraki, who was the first person to inherit One for All. When this quirk was passed on to Izuku, the genetic connection helped him unlock its true potential indicating his relation with All for One.

My Hero Academia Reignites an Old Debate with its Latest Arc that Puts Deku on the Sidelines
Another possible explanation is Izuku’s quirklessness at the beginning of the series. It is initially revealed that Izuku was born without a quirk. However, quirklessness is very rare in the series and All for One can extract quirks from others and use them as his own. It can be said that Izuku was born with a powerful quirk, and All for One being Izuku’s father extracted his quirk and used it for himself.
