Japanese studio âge held on October 22 the “âge 20th Anniversary broadcast [still breathing]” live stream. During the stream,Muv Luv’s Yoshimune Kouki revealed screenshots for a newMuv Luvproject titledMuv Luv Integrate.

During the stream, Yoshimune Kouki confirmedMuv Luv Integrateis a proper sequel toMuv Luv Alternativeand it’s pretty much “Muv Luv Alternative 2”. Wile it wasn’t confirmed to be a game yet, everything hints that it will be one. In the past, âge and Kouki released materials or information about events and new mecha related to what happens next in that point in theMuv Luvuniverse, but it’s the first time an actual project is announced and presented as “Alter 2”
Kouki also said he’s personally handling the mecha design and part of the scenario ofMuv Luv Integrate.
Game journalist Mafia Kajita, who was present on stream, asked Kouki how is this going to work since Takeru Shiroganae’s story ended withMuv Luv Alternative. Kouki didn’t give out more details on that regard and didn’t precise if Takeru will be the protagonist or not. As a fun note, they only asked Mafia Kajita to come for the stream, but didn’t tell him in advance what they’d announce. The stream wasn’t meticulously planned like the usual Japanese stream too.
However, Yoshimune Kouki explained how one of his biggest influences isGundam’s Tomino, and how he likes the popular idea thatTurn A Gundamembraces all the previousGundamseries. So Kouki wishes to do a similar thing that integrates all ofMuv Luv, hence why the project is titledMuv Luv Integrate.
Kouki added while laughing that he doesn’t know ifMuv Luv Integratewill actually release one day. He also spoke about how his friend Matsumura Kazutoshi/Tororo, who was alongside him during the stream, told him he’d go as far as fund everything himself to make the project possible.
Lastly, Mafia Kajita was also confirmed to be voicing someone inMuv Luv Integrate.
For now,Muv Luv Integratehas no official platforms or a release date estimate.
At the end of the stream, âge also revealed a roadmap for future developments. Another stream will be coming before the end of 2019, with new information. âge will also appear at Comiket 97 at the end of December. And even more developments to come were teased. Kouki also said they want to release something that will encompass everything âge did in 20 years, so we might get some sort of “âge games compilation” soon.
Ending the stream, everyone present and Kouki thanks the fans for supporting them all these years and how he wishes to deliver to answer that support.
