This year’sNext event was no different, with leaks surfacing out from the event. However, it looks like Activision has not been a fan of leaks, as one employee took matters into his own hands and was seen engaging in passive-aggressive behavior with a streamer.
Activision Employee Gets Angry During COD Next
Black Ops 6leaks have been revolving around for a while now. From details regarding the zombie mode or in-game screenshots, the community has seen many leaks over the past few months. That said, the parent companies of games usually don’t appreciate leaks as they essentially spoil the fun and mess with the timeline of release.

A Twitter user has posted footage from the event that appears to show anActivisionemployee (though this is not confirmed) interacting with a Twitch streamer. During the interaction, the employee asked about another well-known streamer in theCODcommunity, “Sage,” who was also present at the event.
@Activisionthis your man? “You better talk to him before I do”? Really lmao? Bro needs to have a conversation with his superiors. Bro looks like that one kid from Sand Lot.
This is because Sage allegedly is leaking undisclosed information about the game from the event and sending it to others. However, there is no proof that this is actually the case. The tone and words of the employee were also anything but pleasant, which has sparked outrage online. Many netizens have called out the employee for his unprofessional behavior.

By far, the highlight of the event wasthe confirmation of Verdansk returning toWarzone.The iconic map debuted alongside the game back in 2020 and quickly became a fan favorite. Although it was removed from the game down the line, fans constantly demanded to bring it back.

Warzonehas also added a new map for the current season, Area 99. It is compact and small in size, promoting more chaotic gameplay. Furthermore, Area 99 is also the birthplace of Nuketown, anotherCODmap that is very popular.
