Part of what makes aWWEwrestler stand out the most, alongside their gimmick and ring ability, is their entrance.Because let’s be real here, a good entrance speaks volumes about the talent and the aura they possess as they head down for their matches.
Most importantly, without a good entrance or music, there’s not much crowd pop or recognition to receive, which matters a ton, especially when there’s a mixed assortment of entrances for both new and veteran wrestlers in the company in the current era.

10 Best Wrestling Games, Ranked
These are some of the best and our favorite wrestling games of all time—if you smell what we’re cooking.
With that in mind, I’ve prepared a list of the most iconic entrances in WWE history, a few of which are my personal favorites and ones that live rent-free in every fan’s hearts due to sheer nostalgia or adoration for the wrestlers themselves.

10Chris Jericho
SAVE_US.Y2J
From the momenthe debuted via his Countdown to Millennium in front of a heated Hollywood Rock, Chris Jericho has solidified himself as one of the most charismatic wrestlers of all time, and his entrance from then on cemented that as a fact.
Until he cut his hair off and did a studious walk to the ring in his ‘08 heel run, Jericho’s original entrance consisted of his iconic countdown with pyro going off until he eventually walked out with his signature pose and ‘Break the Walls Down’ playing full force.

It perfectly captured his energetic tone, with the crowd going bonkers for him. This entrance would eventually evolve with his light-up jacket during his 2010s run, which made it even more memorable, especially since Jericho’s departure from the WWE.
You’re Next!
The man who went on a blistering streak in WCW as he speared and jackhammered every opponent that got in his way, Goldberg was the prime definition of a powerhouse wrestler who could mow down anything in his path.
His entrance backed up that statement, as he would routinely be escorted by guards from the locker room in the backstage area, standing amidst the shredding pyro on stage and making his signature entrance taunt with more pyro going around him.

If that didn’t immediately show you how much aura this behemoth of a man possessed, you’d have to be either very brave or completely blind.
Even when he returned in late 2016, it was a delight to hear thousands of people chanting as he made his way to the ring—until he shamelessly beat the Fiend, tarnishing his reputation as he felt like the most forced veteran wrestler ever.

8Ric Flair
The Nature Boy, Ric Flair, is arguably one of the industry’s most decorated wrestlers. While you can point all your pitchforks at his daughter for being a nepo baby, let’s keep it civil here and talk about his entrance that perfectly fits the term ‘iconic’.
Being heralded as the greatest in the business, you’ve got to walk like you own every room you walk into, and Ric Flair does precisely that as he makes his slow-paced yet magnificent entrance in his tailored robes with the Also Sprach Zarathustra orchestra amping up his aura factor.
While I only had the fortune of experiencing Flair right at the end of the Ruthless Aggression era when he retired, at least the wonders of modern-day technology allowed me to re-watch his breathtaking WrestleMania 24 retirement match entrance in all its glory and shine.
Every WrestleMania 41 Match, Ranked
A whole lot of stinkers but also a whole lot of bangers.
7Finn Balor
Catch Your Breath
As much as I’m a reasonable person who’s willing to compromise over most things, for the love of God, you don’t mess with a wrestler’s entrance theme.
This is specifically why I picked Finn Balor and his original entrance over the new Judgment Day remix they cooked up.
If we’retalking iconic, the Demon Finn Balor persona had a collection of stupendous entrances.Whetherit was the demon’s long-awaited revival entrance against Edge at Mania 39 or evenwhen he cosplayed as Jack the Ripper for NXT TakeOver: London, Finn always knew how to make his entrances feel eventful.
He’s truly one of those rare wrestlers of the modern era who’s managed to get the crowd incredibly invested in his entrance. From doing the signature arms to the sky amidst the walk to the ring to making new themes shine with the Demon alter-ego, he’s tried and bested it all.
It’s amusing that modern audiences hardly recognize any new entrance themes, especially during the Royal Rumble 2025, where hardly anyone noticed Finn’s entry, mainly because of his mediocre Judgment Day-remixed theme, which I pray fades away into obscurity when he turns face and betrays the faction.
6Stone Cold
Suddenly Heard Glass Shatter
This one feels like an obvious pick to many, but you just know I had to give a mandatory shout to the Texas Rattlesnake himself, good old Stone Cold Steve Austin, who carried the majority of the Attitude Era on his shoulders as he constantly butted heads with Vince McMahon.
Aside from his badass strut to the ring,Stone Cold’s glass-shattering entrance theme is arguably one of history’s most recognizable wrestling themes, becoming a pop-culture phenomenon outside the wrestling world.
A part of me wishes I had been born earlier to see his heel run, where he used the lyrical version performed by Disturbed, one of my favorite heavy metal bands.Still, the current version of him and his entrance, where he rides into the arena on his ATV, such asthe recent WrestleMania 41, isn’t bad either. Provided he can drive the thing without mowing down fans.
5John Cena
Hustle, Loyalty, Respect
John Cena’s one of the greatest of all time; he’s a prolific athlete who’s accomplished a ton of feats across the wrestling and entertainment business. If there’s one thing we all absolutely love about him, it’s his exciting entrances that got everyone on their feet.
With an entrance theme that transcends wrestling, Cena had an array of amazing entrances on both off-shows and even big ones, such as WrestleMania, always donning a new pair of colorful shirts every single time he made a major entrance to a match.
His entrance has a very different look and feel these days as he plans to wrap up his time in the WWE by ruining wrestling. Offering fans nothing with blacked out our screens with his name in white print, and absolutely no energy to his walkout. But, at least his signature tune remains.
4Jeff Hardy
Time Has Come And Gone for Words
As a kid who adored the gritty 2000s era growing up,Jeff Hardy was a star whom I personally consider one of the coolest wrestlers of all time, with an absolute banger original entrance theme, his getup with those armbands, and taking risks in the ring with his over-the-top spots in matches.
Every kid in the stands or at home would get hyped when Jeff’s entrance theme hit.As he came out doing his signature air juke with his arms, with the intense pyro going off around him, you’d immediately know that the charisma enigma was about to put on a clinic.
Although Jeff departed from the WWE too soon,I’m glad he brought his iconic entrance back as a sudden surprise during his final singles run with WWE, which gave everyone, including me, a hearty dose of nostalgia.

The Rated R Superstar
Would you believe me if I told you I had a love-hate relationship with Edge? It’s primarily thanks to his slimy and despicable heel run back in the end days of the Ruthless Aggression era.
However, he grew on me because I equally adored his fiendish rock-star look and, most importantly, his headbanger of an entrance.
Edge’s Metalingus entrance music is one of the most well-known wrestling themes ever, and his entrance is equally iconic. He heads out to the ring and poses with his rock star hand signs to the sky, with an explosive amount of pyro going off on equal ends to hype up the crowd.
I love the fact that Edge has always had creative control over his entrances, whether it was his short-lived heel run using Alter Bridge’s The Other Side at WrestleMania 38 ormenacingly coming out to Slayer’s South of Heaven at Mania 39, his entrances were always awe-inspiring, no matter what.
Time to Play the Game
Whether he was steamrolling through the company during his reign of terror in 2002, smashing into Randy Orton’s house, or now, where he’s taken over the creative helm of the company, Triple H, AKA Hunter Hearst Helmsley, has one of the most jaw-dropping entrances of all time in the WWE.
It’s owed chiefly to the late Lemmy Kilmister from Motorhead, the main driving force behind Triple H and his Evolution faction’s entrance themes. If it weren’t for such an absolute banger entrance theme, we wouldn’t have all been re-enacting Triple H’s signature water spit that he does at the end of his arrival.
Triple H’s entrances are always grand and epic in scale. From his entrance via the throne at Mania 30, the Terminator-inspired one at Mania 31, or with his wife, Stephanie McMahon, at Mania 34, Hunter has truly left an everlasting impression on each one.
My favorite one will always be his WrestleMania 27 entrance against the Undertaker, which featured him appearing via Metallica’s “For Whom the Bells Toll.” It was the exact moment 10-year-old me was exposed to Metallica’s greatness, and it made me anticipate in the latter years what entrance Triple H might cook for his next Mania match.
1The Undertaker
It was a toss-up for me between the Deadman and Triple H as the top pick, but if you look back on his illustrious and legendary career and the impact he’s left on the business, it’s hard to look past the Undertaker, who has the most iconic entrance in WWE history.
That gong before his entrance theme is iconic enough to strike fear into the heart and soul of every wrestling fan of the past generation.
Whenever you heard it, you just knew the match or segment would be special, or that some poor soul in the ring was about to receive a whooping of a lifetime.
Although I’d argue his American Badass and Big Evil entrances are equally beloved, you’ll never be able to topple the aura that the Dead Man Undertaker possessed as he walks down the aisle amidst the dark fog with flaming pyro as the backdrop, creating the most chilling and awe-inspiring entrances for a WWE wrestler.
