The next DLC fighter forMortal Kombat 1is almost here! If you’re a Kombat Pack 2 owner, you can play as Conan the Barbarian next week, as the character will be available on January 21.
For those who don’t own the Kombat Pack 2, you’re able to play the character a week later on January 28, which has always been the case for new DLC fighters introduced in the game.

Conan the Barbarian Looks Brutal In Mortal Kombat 1
What makes this cameo DLC fighter more special is it’ll feature the likeness of actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, who played the character in three Conan films.
The press release discusses the character’s history: “Born on a battlefield, Conan has become one of the most formidable warriors the world has ever seen through relentless toil and kombat. Sold into slavery after his parents are slain and village destroyed by the malevolent warlord Thulsa Doom, he is eventually freed by his master and embarks on a quest for vengeance, his journey culminating in the defeat of Doom, liberating thousands from his sorcerous grip. In Mortal Kombat 1, Conan stands ready to defend Earthrealm against the vile beings that mean to conquer it.”
As you can see in the trailer, Conan’s moveset is built around the character’s iconic Atlantean Sword. Expect to see trademark Conan moves like the sword spin and overhead chop as part of his special moves. We also get to see one of Conan’s Fatalities in the trailer, and even a teaser of his Animality where the character turns into a bull.

Mortal Kombat 1’s Switch version is once again in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons.
Conan the Barbarian isn’t the only movie character joining the game, as thePro Kompeition Season 2 traileralso confirmed the T-1000 from the Terminator movie franchise will also be part of the roster.
