The best way to getFirestoneinMonster Hunter Wildsis bysearching Mining Outcrops in the Oilwell Basin. While not guaranteed, the Mining Outcrops in this biome tend to have at least oneFirestone.
Mining Outcrops are represented by a blue question mark on the map. To quickly get to their locations, open the Filter Icons tab on the in-game map and set a waypoint to a Mining Outcrop.
Next, hold down R1 or RB while on your Seikret to automatically go to its location.

If you check the Mining Outcrops in the Oilwell Basin, and they surprisingly don’t reward you with aFirestone, don’t worry.
Use the “Rest” option underthe BBQ Menuin your tent to change the time of day to reset all Mining Outcrops in the area. This will completely bypass the cooldown time.
No other locations in the game outside of Oilwell Basin offerFirestonefrom their Mining Outcrops. This makes sense, considering the Oilwell Basin is covered in fire, hence the name “Firestone.”
Best Armor to Craft withFirestone
The bestequipment piece to craftwith aFirestoneis the High Rank Gravios Mail. This powerful chest piece offers a base defense of 52, has two available decoration slots, and comes with the Recovery Speed (level 2) and Peak Performance (level 1) equipment skills.
While these equipment skills are fantastic by default, I recommend equipping decorations or talismans with the same skills so you can upgrade them to a higher level and reap even greater benefits.
