All three of these hordes have different philosophies and tactics, and one you might find particularly annoying to deal with is the Horde of the Spore.

Take Your Time
Ideally, you would want to take on the Horde of the Spore with some improvements at the ready. They’re a horde that will take some resources and time to overcome, so having improvements to your Flame of Creation and resource caps will be helpful. Unlocking Cure Netherrack can make the process faster as well.
If you’re not too stocked up onprismarine, taking on the Horde of the Hunt first may be a good idea. The Horde of the Hunt is much easier to topple and will give you the resources you need to fund your upgrades. Just be ready to fight theirboss.
You also likely want to free the mob homesteads before taking this horde on as well.

Build An Outpost
You’ll be taking your forces in and out of the Horde of the Spore’s bases a lot, so it may be a good idea to build an outpost near their territory. If you have the prismarine to spare, start with a wellhouse. This will ensure you don’t have to waste too much time running back and forth between refilling resources or bringing in reinforcements. You may want to then build some basic defenses such as walls and arrow towers.
Besides fast traveling, you’ll be using these outposts as a safe place to hide your spawners.
If you have the Cure Netherrack improvement, you can use it to build smaller outposts near the enemy’s base to hold your spawners and save some extra time.
Tips & Tricks
As mentioned previously, the Horde of the Spore enjoys the strategy of hiding in high places. This makes their bases much harder to reach than those of the Horde of the Hunt or Horde of the Bastion, but with the following tips in mind, you should be able to mount successful attacks against them.
Build Ramps
Ramps are absolutely vital in taking down this horde as they’ll allow you to reach their structures. If you’re not sure where you should place them, take your mount and run around the base to scout the area. Once you spot a route that should be able to connect to the enemy’s base, return to your outpost and lead your units to charge.
Destroy Their Buildings
As you make your climb up, you’ll be fighting on limited space with big enemies and structures pushing your units down. Though it is possible to rush, it may be a worthwhile idea to destroy any structures blocking the way. You’ll inevitably have to go down to get more reinforcements, so you should try making the trip back up easier for yourself.
A swarm of stone golem is very reliable for the task, but creepers will also come very much in handy if you have access to them. The latter is especially great if you wish to quickly take care of nether portals.
Deploy Skeleton Archers
If you have access to them, skeleton archers are some of the best troops you can take into this fight. Not only do they allow you to fight back against ranged enemies from high up, but they also allow you to reach structures you cannot ramp to.
So if you spot a tower protecting a nether portal that you can’t ramp to, don’t worry, your game is not bugged! Have your skeleton archers follow you and find the right angle where they can fire from, and after a while, you should be able to take down the structure.
After you’ve taken their nether portals down, all that’s left is to deal with theboss of the horde.
