Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt are two superstars in their own rights. One, aStranger Thingsprodigy who recently got married, the other, a Marvel star and an industry veteran who has been seen in his fair share of hilarious roles over the years.
But what happens when the two come together? While that has not happened as of yet, it is about to, in the form of a Netflix movie that also boasts of Anthony and Joe Russo as the two directors. A science fiction thriller set to be released sometime in 2024,The Electric Stateis set to become one of the most expensive movies ever made, and is set to cost a whopping $320 million.

However, Pratt’s presence is hardly the only Marvel-related face associated with the movie. It will alsobe helmed by the Russo Brothers, who have created some of the biggest Marvel movies thus far, including 2019’sAvengers: Endgame.Moving on, we also have a range of other familiar faces set to grace our screens.
This includes Marvel star Anthony Mackie, along with Giancarlo Esposito, seen in series such asThe BoysandBreaking Bad,and is currently rumored to be joining the MCU as well. They are joined by the likes of Ke Huy Quan, Stanley Tucci, Jason Alexander, Brian Cox, Jenny Slate, and Billy Bob Thornton, bringing some sense to the eye-watering budget of the flick.
It has a screenplay written by the likes of Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, and is set to be released sometime in late 2024.

While a huge budget and an extremely talented cast are very evident with the upcoming Netflix movie, not a lot of details about the plot has been released thus far. Netflix appears determined to keep the project under wraps for the time being, despite the fact that it is set for a release in 2024 itself.
However, the graphic novel gives us some idea of the kind of spectacle the $320 million budget might result in. First and foremost,The Electric Stategraphic novel is set in 1997, in a post-apocalyptic world dealing with the effects of a dystopian war which has left humanity on its knees.
The story revolves around the character of Michelle, who travels the countryside along with a toy robot and a traveling drifter. The party is in search of Michelle’s younger brother, and must traverse through a landscape littered with huge robotic drones that are the remnants of the war that has ravaged society.
Hence, the unique setting and concept in itself suggests that a huge budget might have been a compulsion on Netflix, as we await further details about the ambitious $320 million project.
