He explains that he’s begun building defensive measures against anything that could harm Martira and must ensure everyone’s safety.
In the middle of the conversation, Bardon recalls his past and mentions that he was once married and had a daughter. As captain, he spent much time away from home, and one day, when he returned, he found his house empty.
Soon after, all the problems with Joanna and the child kidnappings happened, and he felt useless. That’s why he now promises to do everything to protect everyone.

The governor manages to drive Gastreaux away quickly by threatening to expose the man’s schemes. Afterward, Bardon reveals that Gastreaux was the clergyman he had initially considered for governor.
He blames his naivety for this poor judgment of character and decides to keep a close eye on Gastreaux to ensure he doesn’t do anything wrong. If he does, the judgment will be swift.

The captain doesn’t take the defeat well and unleashes on the people, claiming he gave his all, but when he needed them, they turned their backs on him.
Conveniently, a sandworm is spotted approaching Martira, and Gastreaux panics, unsure of what to do. The protagonist goes after Bardon, and the man doesn’t hesitate to decide to protect the town, especially the children, from the human threat approaching.
Bardon instructs the guards to declare it a false alarm because he doesn’t want to see the town fall into chaos. He says he’ll handle the sandworm human himself—with the help of the protagonist’s power, of course.
This starts the “The Right to Rule” request.

The boss is level 60, but we defeated it with a party at level 55. Bardon passively joins the fight, constantly buffing the party.
The battle isn’t particularly difficult, but if you need help, we used a party composition with theArchetypes Prince, Paladin, Samurai, and Ninja.
Homo Butera is weak to ice and has no resistance at all. We took advantage of debuffs, lowering its hit/evasion and defense and using severe-damage attacks.
The boss’s sandstorm attack hits everyone and lowers the party’s hit/evasion, but Bardon can help with that. ensure to have inherited heal-all magic. Eventually, the monster will fall.
Back in the village, some folks side with Bardon, while those who support Gastreaux claim that Bardon only cares about power.
However, even some of Gastreaux’s supporters mention Bardon’s altruistic moments and how he wanted to handle the sandworm alone to avoid worrying the townsfolk.
In the end, the villagers realize they’ve been piling all their problems on Bardon, expecting him to shoulder their woes without caring about how he will handle them.
Bardon is still resting from exhaustion after the battle, but the villagers promise to take care of him.

When you talk to Bardon, he says Gastreaux has called everyone to gather in the square and fears it’s a gathering to exile him.
However, to his surprise, Gastreaux announces that he is naming Bardon as governor. The clergyman says he barely managed to protect himself when the sandworm approached, while Bardon took the brunt of it for everyone’s sake.
Bardon apologizes to everyone, admitting that his overprotective measures were a reflection of his own insecurities, but he promises to do better.
The townsfolk also commit to helping, with everyone doing their part instead of dumping all their problems on Bardon alone.
Bardon asks all of Martira to support the protagonist’s royal campaign, calling him the town’s true hero.
Afterward, the two head to the tavern, and Bardon thanks the prince, saying it was only because of him standing by his side that he made it this far.
