Among the highest-paid actors in the world, the former wrestling champion, Dwayne Johnson, attended the UK premiere of his “anti-hero” DC filmBlack Adam, in London. Speaking withSky News, the actor jokingly suggested he should take over Liz Truss as the UK Prime Minister.

Considering the political turmoil that the UK was going through, back then in 2022, Dwayne Johnson quite unexpectedly asked the Brits if they were “ready for another Johnson prime minister”. In reference to Prime Minister Liz Truss’ predecessor Boris Johnson, the actor suggested his new government official name.

After almost joking about replacing Liz Truss, the actor proceeded to speak about his film’s premiere. While claiming, “it’s great to be back in London”, Dwayne Johnson went ahead to promote his then-upcoming DC film,Black Adam.

Dwayne Johnson Refused to Run for US Presidential Election

WhileDwayne Johnsonjoked about replacing Liz Truss and leading the European country, the actor repeatedly refused to run for the US presidential election. Addressing calls in the US for him to run for the presidency, Johnson stated that he wasn’t interested in the position. Putting the presidency off the table, claimed to focus on parenting.

Speaking withCBS Sunday Morning, Dwayne Johnson stated that although he loves his country and countrymen, he is rather interested in focusing on his daughters. Willing to be a good parent and improve his kids’ lives, Johnson mentioned that presidential responsibilities will make him an absent parent that he can’t afford.

“I love our country and everyone in it. I also love being a daddy. And that’s the most important thing to me is being a daddy…I know what it was like to be on the road and be so busy that I was absent for a lot of years in my first daughter’s… Growing up in this critical age at this critical time in their life, and that’s what the presidency will do.”

Dwayne Johnson repeatedly refused to take on the responsibility of the US president, despite the polls and votes being in his favor. However, he didn’t hesitate before joking about replacing Liz Truss as the UK Prime Minister.
