Marvel Rivals Review
It really makes you feel like Spider-Man.
The Punisher Defensive Strategies
You may feel invincible on the battlefield, but in reality, you’re anything but. Make sure you know how to keep yourself safe with these helpful tips.
The Punisher Team-Up Abilities
Heroes Needed
Rocket Racoon
Rocket Raccoon throws an Ammo Overload device in the target direction. Upon entering the device’s range, the Punisher and Winter Soldier receive the buffs of Infinite Ammo and Faster Firing.
The Punisher or Winter Soldier

The Punisher’s Team-Up Ability requires Rocket Racoon on the battlefield and is activated by Rocket.
When he drops the Ammo Overload device, stay near it and enjoy infinite ammo and an increased fire rate.

you’re able to be super aggressive, too, if Rocket has dropped a revive machine nearby, meaning you can get back in the fight quickly if your hubris gets the best of you.
The Punisher Counters & How to Deal with Them
While you can do considerable damage as The Punisher, there are two ranged Duelists that do out damage you:HawkeyeandBlack Widow.
Both are capable of sniping you from anywhere on the map, meaning all your hard work to find the perfect vantage point for your turret is wasted.
Iron Fist,Spider-Man, and evenPsylockedo a great job of winning one-on-one matchups, too. They’re generally too fast to effectively shoot down, no matter if you’re using the shotgun or assault rifle. If you’re looking to deal with them, keeping your distance and picking them off from afar is best.
Best Team Comps With The Punisher
Given his Team-Up ability, you want to pair The Punisher withRocket Racoonas much as possible. The benefit you receive from Infinite Punishment is huge.
Not just because you get infinite ammo, but the increased rate of fire is crucial for winning team fights, especially if you’re trying to shotgun an enemy diver.
Since Rocket is a strategist who is best as a secondary healer, you’ll want someone who can thrive in a healing role.
Cloak & Daggeris an appealing option, but I’m going to preferLuna Storm, especially considering how strong her ultimate is and her healing prowess.Mantisis also an excellent healer who can buff The Punisher’s damage.
From there, you’ll prefer Vanguards that can play aggressively.I’m never upset to have aVenomon my team wreaking havoc on the backline, and someone likeThor, who can be aggressive in melee, is an excellent choice, too.Doctor StrangeorMagnetoaren’t bad ideas, either, as they can protect me with their shield while still playing aggressively.
As for a Duelist counterpart, ideally, you want someone who can be up close and personal, dealing damage and picking off troublesome enemies. Iron FistandSpider-Manare always great choices since they can pick off someone like a Hawkeye or a Black Widow trying to snipe you down.
