X-Menand pretty much anyMarvelcomic or movie tends to have amazing cover art. Similarly, fans are known to recreate these in their unique ways. Seeing how they interpret or replicate this art is surely an intriguing thing.
Though some artists may try to put their own spin on cover art,dannymograptusdecided that they would rather stay true to the original piece. This creates its own difficulty though, especially in a community such asMarvels. One mishap and the fans will definitely notice and scrutinize you as the artist.
On the other hand, if you’re able to perfectly replicate the art, then more than likely praises will follow. Fans will never shy away from letting you know their thoughts, which is why artists are sometimes hesitant to share their work - thankfully, that’s not the case this time.

If you are not familiar,Arthur Adamis a known comic book artist forMarvel. He has worked on many comics and series alike. This specificX-Mencover that the artist decided to portray, was done by him.
Though you’re probably looking forward to seeing the artwork, it is only right to showcase what the original looks like first. Then you can come to a conclusion as to whether the artist did a good job or not.
The Artist’s Work
The artist decided to create their replica of this art on a denim jacket and if you know anything about painting or designing, then you know this isn’t a simple task. Considering the fact that they decided to hand-paint this as well portrays their commitment as denim isn’t easy to paint on.
However, they pushed through. I can only assume they wanted to be able to wear and show off this jacket, though I hope they used a special paint that won’t wash off when the jacket’s placed in the washer. Completely beside the point though, you’ve been waiting long enough.
Personally, I think he did a wonderful job, and based on the comments, I’m not the only one who thinks so. What do you think?
