Although bits and pieces of information have been enough to fulfill the hunger of the fans, the franchise has been quite generous with what they are sharing with us.

Recently, the official concept art for the main antagonist of the next phases has been released, and to say that it is impressive would be an understatement.

Doctor Doom’s Look Unmasked!

Ever since it was announced that Robert Downey Jr is coming back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans have been nothing but excited. However, many cannot help but get skeptical about the choice of casting. While a majority of the fandom wanted the actor to come back, it is safe to say that no one expected it to be in such a way and as Doom of all people.

Although some have completely dismissed the decision as being a poor one, there have been others who want to know what theRusso brothershave planned before they pass their judgment. Recently, the pair did exactly this, revealing their vision to the fans through an influencer and some very widely known fanart.

Justthenobodys on Instagramrecently made a post where they unboxed a package that they received directly from AGBO Films, a production company started by the Russos. The parcel was supposed to contain the first look at their vision for the MCU’s Doctor Doom, and it is safe to say that they did not disappoint.

Russo Brothers Continue To Impress Fans

When the news was announced thatRobert Downey Jrwas coming back into the MCU, many fans hoped that his version of Doom would be an evil variant of Iron Man rather than the comic-accurate Victor Von Doom. While this seemed unlikely based on several factors, the fanart revealed in the video seems to say otherwise.

Very soon after it was announced that Downey Jr was coming back,Bosslogicon Instagram posted an art piece that showcased ahypothetical version of Doomthat was merged with Iron Man. He wore the helmet of the Iron Man suit, and instead of the beloved and comforting, blue-white glow coming from the eyes, there was a menacing green.

Iron Man

“I need regular Doom none of this multiverse variants just Victor Von Doom with his iconic look not the Iron Doom look”wonderb0y77 said on Instagram.

“Ironman suite with doom’s cape”added brijeshcolter.

“Looks like infamous iron man”deeppatel8126 mentioned.

“Just give us normal Doctor Doom, not this Iron Doom shit.”cbknowledge criticized.

“We want a normal doom man, don’t link him with iron man”said ashish.css.

It would seem that the fanart entered the radar of the Russo brothers, as they have now used it as their entire vision for the character. While many have been critical of the merger of these two iconic characters, others could not be more excited.

Some fans think that since both the characters hold a lot of significance in the comics and for fans, they should get their own time in the sun. At the same time, there are many who want nothing more than a merge of Tony Stark and Victor Von Doom. The official Instagram account for AGBO Films also commented on the post, giving credit to the original artist and adding to the hype for the grand reveal.
