One of the strongest third-party developers in the industry, Capcom hopes to build on a strong 2025. The year began with the release of Monster Hunter Wilds. Old school fans enjoyed the release of the Capcom Fighting Collection 2 and the remaster of Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny.

The fact that Pragmata seems to have overcome its troublesome development cycle is nothing but good news for Capcom. After its 2020 reveal, the game sawseveral delays. Many began comparing the title toDeep Down, another original Capcom IP that disappeared after its initial reveal.

The press release says that hacking highlights the game’s combat and will “enrich combat with a sense of strategy and excitement.” Warranted or not, there’s a lot of anticipation surrounding Pragmata. We’ll see if it can live up to the hype when it launches next year.
