With the crazy revelation of Loki inOne Piece, fans have turned rampant with theories that are equally insane. Most of them surround the nature of Loki’s Devil Fruit which he killed his own father, King Harald, for. The Prince has been deemed dangerous and has been chained up in Elbaf ever since his violent acts have alarmed the citizens. It is quite the switch from the goofy silhouette that we saw during the Whole Cake Island Arc and his proposal to Charlotte Lola.

The mystery around Loki’s Devil Fruit will be one of the biggest revelations of power inOne Piece. The Prince has claimed he is the true “Sun God” and that he will end the world. Loki seems to be very pleased and jovial about his plans when telling Luffy about this. One Piecemight see its biggest fight so far, even more than facing Kaidou. Now, fans have theorized Loki might have the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Surtr, the greatest of the fire giants in Norse Mythology.
What Supports The Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Surtr Theory So Far inOne Piece?
The way Hito Hito no Mi’s base model works, in the case of Tony Tony Chopper, is to make him a human-reindeer hybrid. For the models, such as Luffy’s Model: Nika or Sengoku’s Model: Diabutsu, it makes them into those mythical beings. The same concept has been applied to the potential Devil Fruit in the possession of Loki. His mythical being will be the Norse Mythology figure, Surtr, who wields a flaming sword and is the catalyst of Ragnarok or the end of the world.
One Piece: Loki’s Real Devil Fruit Makes Him a True Contender for ‘Sun God’ and Oda Hinted it Back in Dressrosa
Considering all the foreshadowing of Loki’s power and the fact that he believes he’s a Sun God, it could be that the giant’s power will be that of Surtr. It would match up with his end-of-the-world proclamation. Moreover, it now explains why the elder brother of Loki, Harjudin, wanted the Mera Mera no Mi during the Dressrosa Arc. Perhaps he wanted the same power but not at the cost of his father or to destroy the world. Maybe he needs to be his brother’s equal to defeat him.
Elbaf is clearly based on Norse Mythology, including the three levels: Niflheim, Midgard, and Asgard. Ragnarok will bring on the destruction of Asgard, perhaps a nod to the MCU’s version of the events. Loki’s helmet and two horns also look similar to the MCU’s Loki and the original imagination of Surtr. However, if the Surtr theory is true, going with a design similar toGod of War Ragnarok’sversion would be much more terrifying and impactful.

How Overpowered Will Loki Be InOne Piece
Eiichiro Odais deceptive with his silhouettes. No fan expected Loki to be this insane looking, almoston par with the menacing design of Donquixote Doflamingo. One Piecehas paid off on the highly anticipated Elbaf Arc and Loki will certainly be the Sun God vs Sun God fight Luffy needs.
One Piece: If Eiichiro Oda is Inspired by the Best Villain for Loki, He Should Think Twice Before Taking the Next Step
Loki’s power is unmatched even in the land of the greatest and finest warriors. Elbaf is known as the strongest country inOne Pieceso it’s unimaginable how formidable Loki will be. His Devil Fruit must be of value if he killed his own father for it. We can only wait and see what Oda has in store.
