How to Use Ancient Disks in Lies of P: Overture
Ancient Disks is a rare item thatcan be traded to Klausin Lies of P: Overture. Klaus is a new character introduced in the DLC whocan be found in Eventide Hotel Krat.
Despite finding Ancient Disks early on in Chapter 1 of Overture, players won’t reach Eventide Hotel Krat until they complete the first chapter. Once arriving at the hotel,Klaus can be found on the first floor in the west wing.

Klaus accepts Ancient Disks in exchange for a variety of goodies.Each item Klaus offers requires one Ancient Disk. Below is what Klaus has in his inventory that can be exchanged with Ancient Disks:
While his inventory is limited at first,players can find briefcases throughout the DLC that expand his inventoryand make more items available to purchase. Once you find a briefcase, the game will inform you to bring it to Klaus.
Due to the rarity of Ancient Disks, I recommend choosing wisely. Personally, I used them to trade in for either Quartz orthe Plundering Amulet.

Quartzes are especially helpful in Overture since the DLC added a new mechanic where these items can upgrade passive buffs from the P-Organ. On the other hand, the Plundering Amulet charges Fable when a Fatal Attack is successful.
Keep in mind thatKlaus has another purpose. While trading Ancient Disks to him is the most important, he also allows players totrade in Rare Ergo.
Trading in Rare Ergo, which is acquired bydefeating the game’s main bosses, leads to boss weapons and Amulets. This mechanic was also in the base game and was done through Alidoro at Hotel Krat.
How to Find Ancient Disks
As previously mentioned, Ancient Disks are extremely rare inLies of P: Overture. Out of my entire playthrough, I only found 5, and that says a lot considering how long the DLC actually is.
Ancient Disks can be found in thered treasure chests,which have a white glow emanating from them. These are the same treasure chests that contain other special items such as weapons, calibers, Legion Plugs, and more.
Ancient Disks can only be found in the Forgotten Time, which is the timeline for the DLC. They are not found in the base game.
Unlike Quartz,there are no specific enemies that drop Ancient Disks.In fact, I never encountered an enemy that dropped this rare item, outside theDLC’s main bosses.
Instead, Ancient Disks are mostly found byexploring the Forgotten Time. For example, the chests mentioned earlier, and blue pickup items scattered across the DLC. Make sure to search every nook and cranny if you’re trying to farm this item.
