Lethal Companywas a sleeper game that took the world by storm in the last month of 2023. Within weeks, it had gained a larger player base than many of the year’s big releases. This is, in part, due to the tongue in cheek style, and the interesting monster mechanics.
Minecraft: Axolotl Locations and Farming Guide
Minecraft Axolotls are some of the rarest and most adorable creatures in the game. Here is your guide to locating and farming them!
There are a total of 17 entities that players can run into while looting abandoned moons. Each has its own defined behavior, spawn locations, and associated strategy. However, you can only learn about an entity by scanning it, and this information does not persist between runs. As if that were not bad enough, the information provided in the bestiary isn’t always clear. Keep reading to learn everything you need to know about Lethal Company’s creatures, and how to be a model employee.

Lethal Company
All Outdoor Creatures
Monsters in this category spawn in outdoor areas of the map. Not all of these creatures are hostile, and some are very profitable.
Roaming Locusts
Roaming Locusts are
From afar, they look similar to Circuit Bees - however, they will disperse when approached.
Manticoils
Manticoils are four winged, bird-like creatures. These entities are:
Usually they are seen flying in the sky.
Baboon Hawks
These birds, unlike Manticoils, will sometimes attack the player. However, they aren’t a large threat because they are timid.
Baboon Hawks will only act aggressively when provoked, or when they heavily outnumber the player. To avoid altercations with Baboon Hawks, stay together when walking from the ship to the complex.

Circuit Bees
Circuit Bees appear as a buzzing cloud, usually over a circular hive on the ground.
Circuit Bees willterritorially attack players. Due to their speed and damage, Circuit Bees can easily end a run. While in theory, giving them a wide berth will nullify their threat, players are usually tempted to provoke them becausetheir hive is worth considerable money. If you’re determined to steal a Circuit Beehive, learn how to do so safely.

Forest Keepers
Forest Keepers are living trees.
They are deaf, meaning you may talk freely near them. However, their eyesight is incredible, and they are fast. The only way to get passed one that has spawned is tostay out of its line of sight. Additionally, it is sometimes possible to escape them if you can get into the ship. These enemies are too big to fit inside.
Eyeless Dogs
Eyeless Dogs are medium sized, brown creatures.
Acting almost as a mirror of the Forest Keepers, these enemies have excellent hearing, but are completely blind. They are also much smaller than the Forest Keepers, meaning they can enter the ship. To avoid these enemies, it is best tostop talking and crouch walkwhenever you are near them. They can be detected by the sound of their breathing, which is very loud.
Earth Leviathans
Earth Leviathans are hostile giant worms a la theDune Franchise.
Earth Leviathans burrow under the ground, following the tremors left by players as they walk, before coming up to attack the player. To avoid them, keep your eyes peeled for clouds of dust on the ground or wobbling of the game’s camera. These are sure signs of a worm in the area. If you see these signs, stop moving immediately until the danger has passed. Alternatively, you can climb ladders onto scaffolding structures where the worm cannot get you.
Lethal Company: 10 Tips & Tricks For Beginners
Lethal Company is a deadly game. Follow these tips and tricks to give you an edge - it might just keep you alive.
All Inside Monsters
Once you enter the compound on your Moon, there is a whole new group of enemies to deal with. Most of these are hostile, though not all.
Hygroderes
These enemies look like large puddles of slime, and move towards the nearest player at a snail’s pace.
While touching the slime will result in death, players can easily outrun it. The only true danger the Hygroderes poses is if you get backed into a dead end. If this happens, you’re able to jump onto a railing or other object to jump over the Hygroderes,as they are quite short.

Hygroderes will gravitate to boom boxes playing music on the ground, which can be used to lure them to a specific location. Once on top of the boom box, the Hygroderes will dance.
Hoarding Bugs
Hoarding Bugs are brown, cricket-looking creatures about the size of a dog that can spawn on any moon.
They will travel throughout the complex looking for loot, similar to the player, and attempt to take it back to a stash. If any loot is dropped by players, it may be stolen, which is why leaving extra loot outside the main entrance is ideal.

Hoarding Bugs remain non-hostile unless a player tries to take loot from the Hoarding Bug’s stash(or get very close) at which point it will attack. However, signs or shovels can be used to kill a Hoarding Bug in 2–3 hits, and you will likely be able to kill it before dying if you start the encounter at full HP. Alternatively, you’re able to drop a valuable item in front of an aggressive Hoarding Bug, which will cause it to pick it up and carry it back to its stash instead of attacking.
Spore Lizards
Spore Lizards areone of the friendliest creaturesinside the complex, and rarely harm players.
Instead, they will shadow the players as they roam the halls, curiously watching. If cornered, they will emit pink gas, which harmlessly blinds the player.
Snare Fleas
Snare Fleas, reminiscent ofAlien’s Facehugger Xenomorphs, hide on the ceiling until an unsuspecting player walks underneath.
If you are unlucky enough to walk under a Snare Flea, they drop onto the player and begin suffocating them. When alone, this is a death sentence. However, sticking together reduces the danger posed by this enemy. Not only can your companionskill the Snare Flea with a sign or shovel, but they can alsoverbally guide you to the exit.If a player is being suffocated by a Snare Flea, but leaves the complex, the Snare Flea will die
Bunker spiders
Bunker Spiders are a common enemy that is primarily territorial.
These enemies are territorial, not aggressive. This means that they only react when players get too close or walk on their webs. Jump over webs and stay away to avoid conflict. If a Bunker Spider chases you, run and leave the complex to reset them.
The Bracken
The Bracken is a dark pink, lanky figure with glowing eyes.
During its passive state, it stalks players and peeks around corners. If ignored for too long, it will quickly close the distance and kill the player. However, it can also become enraged when staring too long. The ideal way of dealing with a Bracken is to look around you regularly, making brief eye contact with the Brackento scare it off.
Thumpers are a relentless, carnivorous predator that looks like a pink grasshopper.
These creatures are deaf, but terrifying once they spot you. Upon starting a chase, the Thumper makes a loud roaring sound before taking off after the player. It is fast in straight lines, but struggles with corners and cannot track well once line of sight is broken. Therefore, players should take as many corners as possible to escape. you’re able to also jump on Bunker Railings to avoid Thumper attacks, and beat it with a shovel.
Coil-Heads
Coil Heads, thus named because their head is atop a spring, is a brown humanoid figure.
These creatures quickly move toward the player, intent on violence, as long as they are unobserved. However, they cannot move when being stared at. These creatures can be locked behind bulkhead doors using the terminal, but cannot be damaged with weapons.
Nutcrackers
Nutcrackers resemble toy soldiers, and patrol the indoor area.
This monster is very deadly once it sees you, as it will hunt you down using its shotgun and powerful kicks. However, its vision is motion activated. When the Nutcracker faces you, you remain motionless. When it turns away, you can make your escape. This creature can be stunned with the zap gun, and killed with 4-6 shovel hits.Upon death they will drop their Shotgun and two Shotgun Shells.
Jesters are the most dangerous of the indoor-only monsters, and look like a box with legs.
This creature will begin to sing a song when spotted by a player, like a jack-in-the-box. This song lasts anywhere from 30 seconds to 1 minute. During that time, all living players must exit the building. Any player inside the complex when the song ends will be hunted by a fast skull, and the hunting phase does not end until all players are outside or dead.
The Ghost Girl
This rare enemy was added in a later patch of the game, and players are still learning how best to deal with her. Due to her unique spawning mechanics, she fits into neither the indoor nor the outdoor category.
The Ghost Girl has a multipart mechanic, with a haunting mode, a stalking mode, and a hunting mode. Let’s go into recognizing each one, and what you should do.
How To Know You Are Haunted
When she spawns, the Ghost Girl will choose a player to haunt. This player will then begin to experience signs of her hiding phase. During the hiding phase, that player will experience a series of primarily auditory phenomena that the other employees cannot hear. These include:
Basically, be on the lookout for any noises that don’t match the ambiance of the moon. Once you recognize you are haunted, let your team know and head back towards the ship.
The Stalking Phase
The Stalking Phase begins when the Ghost Girl begins to visually appear to the player. During this phase, players should attempt to avoid seeing her. She will always spawn near the haunted player, outside their camera view but with an unobstructed line of sight. She cannot leave the Stalking Phase until you have looked at her. This means that you may indefinitely delay the next phase of the haunting bystaying inside the ship, and breaking line of sight to the outsidewith a line of objects via build mode.
If you create a line of solid objects (anything but the bunk bed) between you and the ship’s entrance, and then stay inside, there will never be a location with a clear line of sight with enough space for the Ghost Girl to spawn. This is why the haunted player is the best choice to man the terminal.
The Hunting Phase
However, if you find her during the Stalking Phase, the haunt will progress to a hunting phase. She can now, at any time that you see her, start skipping. This is her chase animation. You will die on contact. She can enter the ship and climb ladders. However, you can outrun her. Looping her around until your companions are ready to leave is usually the best choice.
If the Ghost Girl kills her target, she will choose a new one and start the hiding phase again. This makes her incredibly dangerous, as she can end your run by killing off the whole group one at a time.
The Masked
Similar to the Ghost Girl, The Masked Entity is difficult to place in the indoor or outdoor category. This entity appears to be a harmless piece of scrapuntil worn by a player.
Any player that wears the mask will die. The mask then takes over their bodies, turning them into a zombie-like creature. It will continue to hunt down players until you escape into orbit. Any player killed by the masked person will also become masked.
