How To Respec Passive Points

Last Epoch has multiple different skill trees, and the skill tree for Passives does feature a Respec system. If you head to thehub areaof every era, there is alwaysan NPC with a brain iconabove its head, the first variant of which can be found inKeeper’s Campin the first realm of the game.

If you pay a visit to this NPC, she will allow you totake back your spent skill pointsfrom the Passives tree, but she will ask forsome Gold for each point. The fee for Respec depends on the node, but it usually isn’t that expensive, as you’re able to take back many points with 1000 Gold in your pocket.

Respec Skill & Specialization Points

Respeccing the points from the Skills & Specializations menu works a bit differently. You can do this anywhere bypressing “S"to open the Skills menu. Now, youselect one of your Specializationsand enter its dedicated skill tree. Here, you can spot a"Respec” buttonin the top right corner of the screen.

There are two ways of respeccing in this panel. you may eithertake back all the pointsyou have already spent on the selected specialization and build that tree from the beginning by taking another path, which is calledRemove Skill Points. In this way, the level of the selected Specialization will be reduced to your character’s Minimum Skill Level. This means you lose some progression in that Specialization.

On the other hand, you can chooseDespecialize Skillto remove the selected Specialization on top of taking back all spent points. This will simply make that Specialization slot empty, so you can select a new ability to specialize. The new specialization that you choosewill start from your character’s Minimum Skill Level.
