Circle Of Fortune Benefits

Circle of Fortune might seem a bit confusing in the beginning. This faction uses a two-step system to grant you rewards. First of all, you need togain Favorby either killing enemies or completing quests. Once you have enough Favor (around 1000), you’re able to travel to theObservatory.

Here, you will find four Prophecy telescopes around you, each one focusing on a different variety of drops, including Armor, Weapons, Idol, and Accessories. As you interact with any of these telescopes, alist of random Propheciesis revealed. To obtain a Prophecy, you need to pay the corresponding Favor.

Each Prophecy is a challenge that will drop a certain reward with a certain rarity upon its completion. This challenge could be anything, from slaying certain boss fights to completingdungeonsor Arenas.

As the reward’s rarity goes higher, the requested challenge becomes harder to complete.

Once you acquire a Prophecy, it will remain active until you complete it. After completing the challenge, you willinstantly get your rewardas a drop.

Merchant Guild Benefits

Unlike Circle of Fortune, Merchant Guild has a pretty straightforward premise. The goal of this faction is to trade any kind of items, and as you make progress through the ranks, you gain the ability tobuy and sell higher rarity items. When you reach Rank 10 in Merchant Guild, you’re able to buy every Unique or Legendary item from in-game merchants and other players — or sell your top rarity items to them.

Similar to Circle of Fortune, you gain Favor in Merchant Guild by killing enemies and completing quests. However, this faction does not force you to complete additional challenges or missions to gain the rewards. Instead, all you need are Gold and Favors, which are quite easy to get in Last Epoch.

Which Faction Is Better?

Merchant Guild is a better faction for now compared to Circle of Fortune. As a member of the Merchant Guild, you don’t have to tie your reward to chance. You gain Favor, you rank up in the faction’s progression system, and you buy everything that you desire.

Trading with other players is also apretty important featurein Last Epoch, especially when you don’t want to waste a lot of time looking for a specific item or weaponry. Other than that, The Bazaar features adedicated merchantfor every item category and every weapon variety.

PC

However, if you prefer to have better goals for completing the repetitive activities, or youlike the feeling of being surprisedby your rewards, then Circle of Fortune is probably the better option that will help you play Last Epoch for a longer period while having more fun.
