The Devil’s Pack is a main quest inKingdom Come Deliverance 2, that shows Henry helping out the Dry Devil and Kubyenka in their quest to get the gang back together.

There are five characters that we need to search for: Adder, Bohuta, Ranyek, Matthew, and Janosh. Most of these five men are up to no good, and convincing them to join the Devil’s gang again is no easy task.

Getting the gang back together Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

While the main objectives can be completed in any order, this guide lays out what we believe to be the best order to complete them.

Getting the Gang Back Together

At the start of the Devil’s Pack quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, players need to speak to Kubyenka to learn about each of the members that have left the gang.

Make sure to ask about Janosh, Matthew, Adder, Bohuta, and Ranyek. After speaking to Kubyenka, two waypoints will appear on the map: one for Bohuta and one for Matthew.

Finding Bahuta in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Finding Bohuta

Head to the waypoint in Grund to speak with Bohuta and ask him if he’d be willing to rejoin the gang. Bohuta outright refuses and says he has turned over a new leaf and now turns to god, instead of participating in the evil nature of the gang.

While Bohuta won’t rejoin the gang, he does give you key information on how to find Ranyek. Once he speaks of Ranyek, a new objective and a waypoint will become available to help you find him.

Bohuta will ask you to pray with him, which you should do by following him to another location on the gravesite.

Once you reach the prayer location, Bohuta will explain how it’s his brother’s grave, and his brother dying is one of the main reasons why he decided to leave the gang. He believes that turning to god will help his and his brother’s soul in the afterlife.

Finding Adder in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

You can either complete the prayer by selecting the option to do so, or you can be dismissive and decide not to participate. If you choose the former,Bohuta will give you a treasure map leading to a place where he “stashed some things.“The latter will result in a fistfight with Bohuta.

Finding Ranyek

When Bohuta informed Henry about where to find Ranyek, a waypoint was created at the Inn, located east of Miskowitz. Head to the inn’s location and speak with the Innkeeper to ask if he has any idea about where to find Ranyek.

Not only will the Innkeeper mention thatRanyek left with a group of men from Bylany, but he will also mention that there was a Polish man named Adder who was at the Inn not too long ago.

Adder was there drinking all night and left with the Butcher’s wife. Adder is another character we are trying to get back into the gang, so this is good information.

Anyway, back to finding Ranyek. Head to Bylany and talk to the Innkeeper to learn that Ranyek lost in a game of dice to the town’s dice players.

Next, speak to the group of men playing dice at the table near the entrance of the Inn, and they will agree to take you to Ranyek’s location.Follow the dice players to the back of the Inn, leading you to a pile of mud.

With so many lengthy open worlds to chose from, here are the few on PlayStation Plus we at Dualshockers think are worth checking out.

Unfortunately, Ranyek is buried underneath the mud, meaning that he was killed by the dice players for not paying up after losing a game of dice.

You have a fewoptional choiceshere: pay Ranyek’s tab to the dice players (700 Groschen), dig Ranyek out of the mud yourself and bring his bow to the dice players, or pass a dialogue check.

Keep in mind that failing a dialogue check, or digging Ranyek’s body out of the mud and then refusing to hand over the bow, will result in a fight between Henry and the dice players.

I recommend attempting to pass a dialogue check so the dice players leave, and then digging him up yourself so you can loot the powerful bow off his body.

To dig him up, keep examining different locations in the pile of mud until Henry finally mentions out loud that he has found his body.Pick him up, bring him over to the side of the mud pile, and loot his body to get “Ranyek’s Bow,” with 200 attack power.

Either way, it’s clear that Ranyek won’t be joining the gang, considering he’s deceased. Now, it’s time to locate Adder and see if we can get him back into the gang.

Finding Adder

Going off the information the Innkeeper told us, we need tolocate the Butcher’s wife and ask her about Adder. Luckily, a waypoint showing her location is found in Pschitoky, so head there and speak with her.

The Butcher’s wife will explain how shedidn’t have any sexual relationswith Adder and that’s a complete lie. She’ll explain that Adder did, however, show up in the middle of the night demanding to see her.

The Butcher came home and saw this happening, assuming that they slept together, so he took Adder away from Pschitoky to “take care of him.“In other words, they’re planning to kill him.

This quest has a hidden time limit,so attempt to be quick here. Waiting too long will result in Adder being killed and a game over screen.

Follow the waypoint to the east of Pschitoky to find the Butcher and a group of men attempting to hang Adder. Interrupt the hanging by speaking to the Butcher to explain how everything is just a misunderstanding and that Adder did nothing to his wife. To avoid a fight here, I recommend choosing the dialogue option with the highest stat.

Once the Butcher agrees to let him go, there’s still a chance that he’ll slap the bull from underneath Adder, and he will begin to hang. Act quickly here byuntying the rope attached to the treeand then the ropes around his hands. Once Adder is free, he’ll return to Devil’s Den.

Finding Matthew

Remember how Kubyenka gave us information about Matthewrobbing innocent civilians? Well, now it’s time to investigate by making our way to the waypoint that leads to the Bailiff of Miskowitz.

Speak to the bailiff and ask about Matthew to learn that he has beenrobbing people on the path between Miskowitz and Suchdol.

ensure to also ask the bailiff about Janosh to activate a quest to find him (more on this later).

To find Matthew, we need to head to thewaypoint west of Miskowitz. The waypoint covers an enormous amount of ground, so finding Matthew here can be difficult. You canfind him somewhere along the main road within the objective area.Check out the image attached to learn where I found him.

Open world games are the norm when it comes to today’s Triple A experiences, but what about the unknowns that do just as well with this formula?

Speak to Matthew here to learn that he has no interest in rejoining the gang and enjoys his life of being a thief. He denies being a thief, though, and instead calls himself a “collector for the king.”

Matthew will demand you to give him 1000 Groschen, which you can easily refuse or accept.Refusing to give him this moneywill result in a fight between Henry and his men, whileaccepting to give him moneywill cause them to leave in peace. No matter which choices you make here, Matthew will not join the gang.

Finding Janosh

The last character we need to find for the gang is Janosh. While we were questioning the Bailiff of Miskowitz about Matthew, we learned thatJanosh is in the pillory at Miskowitzdue to severely injuring a villager.

Healing the Injured Villager

Luckily, thebailiff agrees to let Janosh go if you’re able to help the injured villager. So go ahead and examine the injured villager, who is lying on the bed right next to the bailiff, and select the available skill checks to learn thathe needs bandages and potions.

If you don’t have a potion on you, you can eithercraft one at an alchemy tableorpurchase a Strong Chamomile Brewfrom the Apothecary in Kuttenberg. Meanwhile, bandages can be purchased at any bathhouse.

Once you have the required healing items, return to the injured villager and hand them over. After healing the villager, speak to the bailiff again, who will now ask for money for the villager to keep him on his feet until he can work again. you may either attempt to haggle with the bailiff or hand over 500 Groschen.

After paying the bailiff,he will give you a key to the pillorylocated on the western side of town. Approach the pillory, free Janosh, and then speak to him to make him return to the Devil’s Den.

Return to Devil’s Den and speak to the Dry Devil to celebrate Adder and Janosh rejoining the gang. After a heavy night of drinking, return to the Dry Devil and speak with him to complete the quest.

If you’re light on cash, you do have the option to free Janosh by unlocking the Pillory in the dead of night while the guards aren’t on watch. However, you will need to be able to unlock Medium locks for this to be a viable option.
