Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 219 Recap
The previous chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen began with a flashback to the Heian Era. It was the harvest festival, and one of the men asked the other why they had to invite Sukuna to the festival. The second one replied that the invitation was not a big deal, but why did they have to pray to Sukuna for their crops? It was then revealed that he killed all the elite warriors in the Northern Fujiwara, including the Five Empty Generals. So to save themselves from Sukuna’s wrath, they had to pray to him.
Then they talk about Yorozu, stating that she was known for doing such acts of savagery, and that’s why she needed to be invited too. Then we saw Yorozu from a thousand years ago. A girl requested Yorozu to wear something before going to the festival instead of going naked. She remembered that the harvest festival would be having delicious snacks, so she wore a robe and went to the festival.
Then we saw Sukuna from thousand years ago, with a monstrous appearance, and Uraume standing next to him. Yorozu saw Sukuna and fell in love with him in an instant. She ran and hugged him, and Uraume reflected instantly by slashing Yorozu. Back to the present, the battle continued, and Yorozu constructed Perfect Sphere. She explained that Perfect Sphere had no contact area, so it had infinite pressure, and it was impossible to touch it. Then she activated her Domain Expansion, Threefold Affliction.
Yorozu wondered why Sukuna was not activating his Domain Expansion. But Sukuna had other plans, and he summoned Mahoraga. To Yorozu’s surprise, Mahoraga punched her Perfect Sphere and destroyed it, demonstrating its vast potential. Sukuna mocked Yorozu by stating that she was energy inefficient and that he had already adapted to her powers.
Yorozu lay worn out and stated that she was happy to hear he knew so much about her. She then handed over something to Sukuna and stated that this would remind him of her and wanted him to use it with care. The chapter ended with Megumi crying and sinking deep into the Shadow Realm, burdened with the fact that he killed his own sister.
