As of writing this article, Gojo Satoru has finally been unsealed, and he has set a date to fight the King of Curses onDecember 24thin the manga (presently, the date is November 19th). While we eagerly await the outcome of this epic battle, recent manga chapters have given us a taste of what’s to come, and fans are speculating about who will come out on top. While we don’t know for sure who will win, one thing is certain: the battle between Gojo and Sukuna will be one for the ages.
Gojo Compared To Sukuna Of The Heian Era
In the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, power is everything, and when it comes to strength, Gojo Satoru reigns supreme. The currentinheritor of the Six-Eyes and holder of the Limitless Cursed Technique, Gojo can manipulate space at will, making him a formidable opponent in battle. With his incredible powers, it’s no wonder that he exudes confidence wherever he goes, and who can blame him? He is, after all, the strongest character in the series.
But as they say, pride comes before a fall, and Gojo’s greatest challenge may come in the form of the King of Curses himself, Sukuna. As the strongest Cursed Spirit, Sukuna is a force to be reckoned with, and his powers are not to be underestimated. It’s hard to imagine anyone being able to match up to Gojo’s incredible abilities, butSukuna’s strength and cunning may just prove to be the ultimate test for the Six-Eyed Sorcerer.

When Gojo confidently replied to Yuji’s question about who would win between him and Sukuna, the former replied that he (Gojo) would win. However, maybe Gojo was talking about the Sukuna from a thousand years ago. Since then, his fingers have been absorbing all the Cursed Energy they can, and the Sukuna of the present time is far stronger than the one in the Heien Era. Sukuna presently doesn’t have the power of all his 20 fingers, but if he does, then the scenario with be totally different, and who knows, maybe Gojo will end up being defeated.
Gojo Vs. Sukuna In Megumi’s Body
Since the start of the series, Sukuna’s interest in Megumi and his powers has been on display. Firstly, Yuji Itadori’s body is not at all meant for Sukuna’s resurrection, given our young boy’s ability to maintain control over his body. That’s the reason why Sukuna killed Yorozu (in Tsumiki’s body) after taking control of Megumi’s body, so as to sink him deeper and access full control over him. Secondly,Sukuna’s interest in Megumi’s powers, most notably the Ten Shadows Technique, cannot be denied. He has been keeping an eye on his powers like you keep an eye on a product in Black Friday Sale.
With his full powers gained and no one like Yuji Itadori to hold him back anymore, Sukuna would be a beast that no one had ever encountered, not even Gojo. Now with the two powerhouses finally engaged in the battle, Gojo would have to use his Limitless technique, one of the strongest abilities passed on to him as a family inheritance. And with the use of Six Eyes, Gojo has full control over his powers.

With the use of Limitless, Gojo will make it nearly impossible for Sukuna to touch him unless the latter surprise the former with fully tamed and summoned Mahoraga. It’s only Mahoraga Shikigami that would be able to break through Gojo’s profound barrier and make it possible for Sukuna to attack him. However, it should be noted that for this to happen, Sukuna needs total control over Mahoraga, and there’s no one, even within the Zenin family, who has been able to tame him before.
The proof that Gojo’s Limitless power can be brought to an end with the Ten Shadows Technique can be traced back to chapter 117 of the manga, where Gojo motivated Megumi by telling him about an incident hundreds of years ago. Gojo revealed that aLimitless user with Six Eyes once fought a Ten Shadow Technique user and lost. So, if that were to be true, then Sukuna in Megumi’s body could give Gojo a run for his money. However, we can assume that Gege Akutami will not be that harsh on our beloved Gojo and still make a way out for him to be victorious. But as of now, the favors fall in Sukuna’s hands.
