“Jen’s explained how she had to deal with Ben during benders and blackouts and plenty of ugly arguments. Some pretty incomprehensible stuff.”
Weighing in on their troubled marriage which also involved acheating scandal, the source also claimed that the celebrity couple went “weeks without talking to each other.” They allegedly even slept in separate bedrooms.

Ben Affleck started drinking “more and more” amid marital troubles
The two-time Oscar winner has been candid about his addiction woes for years now. However, in 2020 he spoke about how his public split from Jennifer Garner had influenced his drinking habits.
Speaking to theNew York Times, the now 51-year-old said,
“I drank relatively normally for a long time. What happened was that I started drinking more and more when my marriage was falling apart. This was 2015, 2016. My drinking, of course, created more marital problems.”
The star, who is sober now, also called his divorce from Garner, “the biggest regret” of his life.
