I was very nervous with both [the on-screen and real-life first kisses]. I mean, I was kissing [Galecki] as Penny before we ever dated, and it’s weird when you have a crush on someone and you’re kissing them as actors

Moreover, when Cuoco later once invited Galecki into her hotel room during their trip to Montecito by making the excuse of a bug,her costar refused, as the wounds from her break-up at the time were still fresh. Fortunately, it was Galecki, who later took the first step to kickstart real-life romance between the two after the dust from her previous split-up eventually settled down.
