Dwayne Johnson has long been an electrifying force in the wrestling industry, and his match with real-life cousin brother, Leati Joseph Anoaʻi, aka Roman Reigns, has been one of the most anticipated ones since forever.
Previously their match was confirmed for WrestleMania 39, but for some unfortunate reasons, it didn’t end up happening, and fans have been desperately awaiting news that will finally confirm their dream match ever since.
Following The Rock’s recent appearance atRaw Day 1, it seems that fans’ wishes just might finally come true. This comes after he teased that a match between him and Reigns might take place sooner than fans expect.

Recently gracing his surprising presence atWWE Monday Night Raw Day 1,Dwayne Johnsononce again won the hearts of his fans as he stepped into the ring the same way he did four months ago in September 2023 while appearing atSmackDown.
But what was even more satisfying than his electrifying appearance was him teasing his forever-anticipated dream match with his real-life cousin,Roman Reigns. He did this by asking the audience (via@WWE | X):
“When The Rock goes out to get something to eat tonight in San Diego, should The Rock sit in a booth? Or, should The Rock sit at the bar? [Laughs] Yeah, The Rock wants the bar too. Or, should The Rock sit at the Head of The Table?”
For those who don’t know, Reigns is long renowned for calling himself the “Head of the Table.” Thus, it was thoroughly evident that this jab was at none other than the People’s Champ’s cousin.
As the crowd went wild with his last comment, he further added to the teasing by closing with his signature line that the audience echoed after he claimed,“I love you too, San Diego.”:
“That’s what I thought: if you smell what The Rock is cooking?!”

Although this was only Dwayne Johnson teasing about probably the most-awaited match of the century, fans are already going crazy just at the thought of their dream match taking place for real.
