Helldivers 2ushered a new era of live-service multiplayer games for PlayStation and Arrowhead Game Studios and Sony Interactive Entertainment are collecting the flowers of success. The gaming community loved the game and accomplished amazing feats to prove it.

Helldivers 2 has taken the world by storm and is now available on the PlayStation 5 and PC.

Arrowhead CEO and game director Johan Pilestedt was shocked to see how players can do nearly impossible tasks like reaching level 50 without allies, firearms, or even stratagems.

Johan Pilestedt Is Impressed By The Skill Of One Helldivers 2 Player

In arecent interview, Pilestedt took the time and sat down to share details of the game and expressed his profound enthusiasm for the community and the raw talent of one player who defied all odds.

At one point the interviewer mentioned the difficulty of the game and Pilestedt cited it is essential to have a full squad when tackling higher difficulties but revealed one player did it alone and without weapons or stratagems.

“Please take this”: Is He Actually on Our Side? Helldivers 2’s Joel is Making Friends and Dropping All Sorts in a Recent Appearance In-Game

Yeah, pretty much. But it depends. We have added up to difficulty level 50 in Helldivers [original], so we thought this one needs to be difficult as well, one guy in the community that soloed it with melee only no strats [stratagems in Helldivers 2]!

The bizarre skill and patience that the player has is incomparable and should be used as an inspiration. Arrowhead recentlynerfed the firepower of several weapons infavor of a balanced gaming experience and to encourage collaboration and utilizing other tools like stratagems but it seems like the player took it an extra mile and only used melee.

It seems like Helldivers 2 is the perfect game to prove that working alone can be far more productive.

Nothing is impossible if a player possesses skills, talent, and sheer will.Helldivers 2was meant to be a somewhat realistic depiction of intergalactic warfare but Pilestedt was shocked to see how that one player made the game’s higher difficulties look like a walk in the park.

Helldivers 2 Could Get More And More Harder After Recent Breakthrough Of Solo Player

Pilestedt developed the franchise with a vision to showcase that players can get more work done if they all come together and unite against one common enemy but it appears that some players are in a league of their own and do not need a squad or the use of stratagems.

“Anyone know any producers to create a movie?: Helldivers 2 is the Latest PlayStation Exclusive Getting Fans Begging for a Live-Action Adaptation

Perhaps it is time for Joel, the Game Master, to crank up the heat and make the game far more difficult to avoid giving the community the encouragement to play the game solo. The majority of the community now believes they have the skills and experience for a much more harrowing experience.

Multiplayer games give the players a level of immersion and realism as if they are in a normal playground with friends but on a different scale. Pilestedt and Arrowhead Studios are collectively impressed by the accomplishment of the solo player but it deviates from the team’s vision for the game.

Players have goaded the game master several times now and it is an unwise move to piss off the most powerful entity in the game but it seems like the time has come to makeHelldivers 2a bit harder for players to test their might and socialization skills rather than going solo.
