Left with serious injuries after his near-fatal accident, Renner mentioned feeling hesitant to return to the show.

One year after his accident, as Jeremy Renner returned to action, he was called in to shoot the third season of the hit 2021 Paramount showMayor of Kingstown. Theshow’s co-creator Hugh Dillionhad to get permission from Renner’s mother for him to return to set. And once he was there, the actor told theLA Timesabout being met with some strange feelings.
