There are a lot of complaints these days regardingValorantin the community. Some are not satisfied with the ELO reset system at the start of a new episode, and some are literally disgusted with the ever-increasing toxicity in the game day by day.

To remake a match in Valorant, all of your teammates must vote for it.

Among these many concerns, one is the inability to leave a match without losing RR, even after one or more players of your team leave the match. All you can do is get thrashed by overnumbered opponents, round after round.

Remake in Valorant Shouldn’t Have Votes, According to One Fan

Recently on Reddit, a dedicatedValorantfan vented out their frustration in a post. They stated that in a match, two of their teammates went AFK in round 1. In these kinds of scenarios, the remake option of the game gets triggered. However, to complete the remake process, all the remaining teammates must vote for it.

If any single vote goes against this, then the remake process will be cancelled and the match will go on. A similar thing happened with the fan as their teammates refused to remake the match, and they were stuck in a 3v5 situation for the rest of the match and got hammered by the enemy team.

Now, this fan wants the voting system to be abolished from the remake system. From a certain point of view, this demand is not absolutely baseless. For example, if you are playing on a defense-oriented map and two of your Sentinels are AFK from the very first round, then there is absolutely no way you can pull off that’s match against a 5 stack. Sometimes the rest of the players decline the remake system, butdue to that decision, practical players have to face the consequences too.

How Does the Remake System in Valorant Work?

If one or more players are AFK from the very beginning of the game, like before the first round is completed, then the game triggers a system by which you can remake the game to get away from the undue advantage of your enemies.

Now, this system is based on some criteria. First of all, if that AFK player has completed a single round and proceeds to the next, and they even leave after the match, then there will be no option for a remake. Another thing to keep in mind is that the AFK player has to be random, or else you have to wait for your friend to rejoin the match. You also can’t trigger this option in a 5-stack party.

The remake option is highly beneficial to ignore unfair fights based on extra-man advantage. Upon remaking, you won’t lose any ELO ratings. But carrying on a 3v5 game instead of going for a remake is surely going to put a heavy blow on your RR.

The remake option is to get away from unfair situations in Valorant.
