Ser Erryk Fell On His Sword For Two Reasons
It might seem at first that Ser Erryk Cargyll (portrayed by Elliott Tittensor) fell on his own sword because of guilt. Having to kill his own brother because of two different royal families, the guilt was heavy on Ser Erryk’s mind.
However, as we know withGame of ThronesandHouse of the Dragon,everything is not what it seems. Although Erryk Cargyll had a real sense of honor in his purpose (which is rare in Westeros), the end for the twin brothers was not pretty.

In an interview, series showrunnerRyan Condalhad to give the people an explanation that there were two reasons why Ser Erryk fell on his own sword. The first one was obvious, he felt the guilt of killing his own brother.
The second one, as Ryan Condal said toDecider, was a little bit more on the practical side of things.

Fans stated that the scene was indeed pretty self-explanatory with people taking to X and stating“I thought that was pretty clear”. As intense as that scene was, showrunner Ryan Condal also had nothing but praise for the actors Elliott Tittensor and his twin brother Luke Tittensor.

The showrunner revealed that the twin brothers came up with the entire thing themselves! From the fight choreography to the emotions that they had to show, Condal was all praise.

EvenGame of Thrones‘ casting was stellar. However, it seems that the cast ofHouse of the Dragonis reaching for the ceiling with dedication and love for the iconic franchise.
An example of this love was the incredible talent of the Tittensor brothers who portrayed Ser Errky and Arryk Cargyll in the show. As the interview further continued, Condal revealed that the Tittensor brothers were nothing short of amazing!

Look, they’re amazing actors and performers. They did that entire thing themselves. They studied that choreography. They learned it from Rowley [Irlam], the stunt coordinator. They did that whole fight on their own and it’s so incredible and moving.
Well, the scene was certainly moving, as people felt the loss of two brothers getting killed in a war because of honor.House of the Dragonis on the march towards further success as the second season has been making rounds on the internet.
