As fans already know, the strongest army of the Quinchy, Wandenreich’s Sternritter, was the reason behind the war in Tite Kubo’sBleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, as they served as the main antagonist of the series. They are extremely strong, and each Sternritter possesses power equal to or more than the Captains of the Gotei 13.

However, while they might be the strongest villains in the series, many fans believe that they are not perfectly created. While the anime series might not have shown their complete potential till now, the manga has completed their narratives, and some of these plotlines have some mistakes that have been committed by Kubo while creating them.
These mistakes were pointed out during a Reddit discussion where fans shared their opinions on Kubo’s biggest blunders while creating the Sternritter. While these mistakes did not have a major impact on the overall storyline of the series, they were pretty noticeable to hardcoreBleachfans.

Many Sternitters Were Ignored By Tite Kubo
According to u/Narcoleptic_Owl, the sheer number of Sternitters became their biggest problem, asTite Kubowas not able to create matchups that would justify the numbers of Gotei 13 captains and the 26 Sternitters.

Because of this, many Sternitters went completely unnoticed or played very little role in the story. The biggest example of this is Shaz Domino.

The character, when introduced, had a lot of potential as he killed the members of the Shinigami Research and Development Institute, but he was killed early on by Izuru.
Also, there were many Sternitters that were not even properly shown in the manga. Sternitters like Jerome and Berenice were instantly killed by Kenpachi Zaraki and could not even live up to their full potential.

Not Using the Sternitters to Their Full Potential
u/DewDrop97 claims that many sternitters were not used to their full potential. When introduced in the narrative, these Sternitters had unlimited potential, as each Sternitter carried a unique ability that could easily rival the Bankai of the Soul Reapers.
While some Sternitters got decent screen time and were able to prove themselves, others were killed too easily.

These Sternitters include members like Askin and Cang Du, who, at the time of introduction, had a menacing personality but, during the war, could not live up to their abilities and their names.

It’s understandable that introducing so many villains at the same time could become a problem in the manga, but the anime still has a chance to do justice to the ones that are still left and can be used to their full potential. However, they might have to make some slight changes to the story.
Most of the Sternitters Were Used As A Power-Up for Yhwach
According to u/Massgrande7, there were many Sternitters who didn’t even get a chance to reveal their true powers.
While they contributed to the battle, they were not separately focused on or given an important role in the storyline. They were created just for the sheer numbers of the Sternitter.

In the end, they were simply used by Yhwach as a power-up as he took their powers forcibly using the Auswählen. Auswählen is a technique that allowed Yhwach to redistribute the powers to the weaker Quincy, helping them survive the battle.
However, when Yhwach found himself in trouble, he took all these powers back to himself, which killed the weaker Quincy and made the Sternitters useless. While it helped in the power development of the main antagonist (Yhwach), it did not help the Sternitters in any way.
