Describing her feelings for Ford as“unreciprocated love,”she reflected on what the actor thought of the book. Fisher revealed in an interview withThe Guardianthat she reached out to him before writing the book. She said,
I told him I was writing the book, and I would give it to him and if he didn’t like anything in it I would take it out, and he seemed surprised at that.
