Amber Heard seeks approval as a professional
The 37-year-old actress, who was part of DC’s biggest blockbusterAquamanin 2018, was ordered a fine of $1 million toJohnny Deppafter the verdict turned the tables on her. Heard sparked the long legal battle after she wrote a controversial article on her ex-husband, with allegations of domestic abuse. The trial was highly televised and the world has taken the responsibility to morally police her at every step of her life from here on.
Nevertheless, asDeadlinetried to sneak a glimpse into her life at present, and what she might be expecting in the future, Heard resorted to a simple revelation. She told Deadline’s Mike Fleming Jr. in an interview back in June in Sicily,

After the legal trial took center stage, the actress testified in court that Depp’s public allegations about her morality and character had affected her profession. Heard’s lawyers implied that her part as Mera in theAquamansequel was toned down, with many of her scenes snipped out from the movie.
On the other hand, former DC Films President, Walter Hamada clarified that Heard’s trial had no repercussions on her part as Mera. But the lack of chemistry betweenJason Momoaand Heard had floated up discussions of her replacement in the franchise, perPeople. Simultaneously, Heard testified,

“I fought really hard to stay in the movie. They didn’t want to include me in the film.”
