Some users on platforms like Reddit hope to try this mode in some sort of open beta a bit before the release. The trailer states that the story will take place in 1991, matching the story mode. In some instances, everything related to this mode took place in a completely different timeline.

The trailer has focused entirely on the characters, showing them in a kind of remote prison in the Philippines. It is likely the first map players will experience. Everything points to this being the first mission.
Black Ops 6will arrive on October 25 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC. The franchise continues to support the previous generation of consoles to avoid losing active players who have not yet found a reason to make the leap to the new generation.
