Yet, like most Americans at this moment, he has grown sick of the politics that the United States of America is currently deeply entrenched in. Thus, in his long tweet, Schwarzenegger wrote:
Let me be honest with you: I don’t like either party right now. My Republicans have forgotten the beauty of the free market, driven up deficits, and rejected election results. Democrats aren’t any better at dealing with deficits, and I worry about their local policies hurting our cities with increased crime.
Adding on, he revealed he has grown more disgusted with politics at the moment, more than ever before.
It is probably not a surprise that I hate politics more than ever, which, if you are a normal person who isn’t addicted to this crap, you probably understand. I want to tune out. But I can’t.
Schwarzenegger then went on to state how he could not recognize the country anymore and how despite several impending issues at hand, ‘Washington’ so far has done nothing andthe problems just keep rolling. Then calling out Trump for his problematic policies and opinions, he stated voting for Trump would result in more hate and division.
Hence, given his duty as a former Republican Governor and someone who really cares about the country, he asked everyone toturn the pageand start a new era of growth for the United States.
