WME Independent will launch sales at Berlin’s European Film Market next week for Derek Kolstad’s next directorial venture, Normal. Kolstad previously worked with Bob Odenkirk onNobody(2021), which became a surprise hit during the pandemic era. And now the duo is set to bring us yet another action thriller.

David Kolstad, whowroteNobodyand also penned theJohn Wickfranchise, has written Odenkirk’s next venture,Normal, where the actor plays the character of Ulysses-“the substitute teacher of the sheriff world.”

The movie’s plot revolved around the sheriff-in-charge, Ulysses, played byBob Odenkirk, who is running away from his past demons. He now looks after the town of Normal after the sudden death of the town’s original sheriff. But a bank robbery in Normal leads Ulysses to discover a criminal conspiracy at the heart of the quaint town, where he realizes that everyone – from the bartender to the priest – is in on it. And now he must get to the bottom of this conspiracy to find the truth.
