While he has left fans in the fantasy world through films likeBabe, he has also managed to unsettle his audiences through a saga as remarkable as hisMad Maxone.

Talking about that, this specific action/adventure universe of his that never ceases to leave his viewers unsettled has not only been in his mind for a long time but has also ascended from themes of his own past.

If anything, the things seen in his lore are widely synonymous with what Miller went through in his past, establishing him as the true legend that many already deem him to be.

TheMad MaxSaga is Widely Connected to George Miller’s Past

While almost all of his other projects are more or less deemed pretty fantastic themselves,Miller’sMad Maxsagasurpasses all of those expectations and is widely regarded as one of his best works to date, if notthebest work by him.

That said, that particular universe actually holds a particular connection to him as well.

This connection goes back to the pastGeorge Millerled, which was originally as a physician — a profession he successfully led for quite a few years before fully diving into the entertainment industry as a full-time storyteller.

And Miller himself only recently realized how perfectly these dots connect between his medical past and his action/adventure lore.

“She would have been able to do that”: George Miller Might Have Killed the Mad Max Franchise by Not Bringing Back Charlize Theron as Furiosa Struggles in Theatric Wasteland

During a recent interview withAP, theHappy Feetdirector reflected on his thoughts on the same while talking about his medical background, saying:

I don’t think I’d still be making films if I didn’t have that part of myself.

Further elaborating on his statement, he then explained how these dots connect:

You’re looking at a human being from every point of view. As organs. As individuals. Sometimes looking through a microscope and seeing their cells. Or an autopsy. Psychologically. In every way, you’re looking at the human being. That’s what you do as a storyteller.

Needless to say, those same features can be felt mirroredin his action sagaas well — be it through his desert dystopia that starts to look like an ER after reading Miller’s thoughts, or something as simple as Furiosa’s prosthetic arm in the live-action lore.

That being said, the mastermind storyteller has the most perfect place where he has impeccably stored“every cut of virtually every movie I’ve made”— his head.

George Miller Has theMad MaxSaga All Fixed in His Head

Even after all this time — i.e. almost four and a half decades that he has spent on this franchise after bringing it to life back in 1979 — theMad Maxsaga still holds an eternal place inGeorge Miller’s mind, where he remembers“every cut of virtually every movie I’ve made.”

“If he would take it on…”: A New Mad Max Game Could Only Work ‘with all the fantastic things’ Hideo Kojima Has in his Head According to Furiosa Director George Miller

During the same interview, he initially expressed how he doesn’t“do anything with my hands anymore”while talking about the operations of typing, cutting, and operating a camera, and yet, revealed how the entire lore is fixated“all in the head.”

Miller said:

I can quote some of the lines from the movie but I know virtually every cut of virtually every movie I’ve made — and in many cases, the cuts of some of my favorite movies. That’s my neurology.

As hard as that is, the fantastic storyteller still makes it seem as easy as ever, remembering all such details even at the age of 79.
