Timothée Chalametrecently joined Austin Butler,Zendaya, and Florence Pugh to promote their upcoming epic science fiction,Dune: Part Two,onJimmy Kimmel Live!.
However, before talkingabout Paul Atreides’ story, host Jimmy Kimmel shed light on a poster ofWonka, which included the name of its lead star. Kimmel remarked that he noticed a “little accent” in Chalamet’s name. This led to the young star teaching everyone how to pronounce his name correctly.
“Honestly, it’s Tim-o-tay,”he said, before adding,“But I would not oblige you to say it like that and it could be Timothy or Timmy or Doug or Alan.”
The 28-year-old then went on to reveal that his middle name is Hal.“Wait, your initials are THC,”Kimmel noted. Chalamet replied with a laugh,“I don’t do drugs.”
In case you missed the joke, THC is delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, the main psychoactive ingredient in the cannabis plant, which is the source of the mind-alerting drug, Marijuana.

Zendaya, who starred opposite Chalamet as Chani inDune (2021)recalled that before they met on the set of the Denis Villeneuve-directed film, there was a “weird” airport meeting.
The pair were on the same flight but they didn’t interact as they didn’t know each other at the time. Accordingly, when Zendaya fell to the ground while making her way out of the terminal, Chalamet “ignored” her despite witnessing the incident.
TheEuphoriastar, however, added that Chalamet’s reaction to the whole incident has been forgiven and now they have formed a close bond.
