Steve Carelllearned a new Gen Z slang word and he knew exactly whom to apply it to. In a fun interview with IGV Presents to promoteDespicable Me 4, Carell learned the word“rizz”which is the shortened version of the word ‘Charisma’.

The Officeactor didn’t know about ‘rizz’ but he apparently knew something about the word ‘riz’. He joked that ‘riz’ was the sound made by a rollerblade screeching to a stop. Jokes apart, Carell believed that the word was apt to describe one of his co-stars.
Carell andRyan Goslingstarred inCrazy, Stupid, Loveandhad a fun time together. During the interview, Carell called Gosling the rizz king and shared that he would sometimes call theBarbieactor ‘Rizz Gosling’. Carell concluded that Gosling was the epitome of rizz in the industry. Carell also shared that he would call another 55-year-old actor to be rizz in Hollywood. Carell’s alternate pick was Paul Rudd, who starred alongside him inThe 40-Year-Old Virgin. Both these picks may undermine some of the young stars of the industry, including Tom Holland.

Tom Hollanddoes not consider himself to be full of rizz as he revealed in an interview withBuzzfeed. He shared that his brother Paddy had more rizz than him. However, his colleagues in the industry don’t think so.

However, Carell considers neither Holland nor Chalamet as the rizz master. Carell’s Despicable Me 4 is currently running in theaters.
