Genshin Impact’s 2.7 Update has been delayed due to the pandemic, and players are wondering how they can get the compensation rewards.
The Ayaka banner was officially extended today, and it created a lot of panic in theGenshin Impactcommunity. The countdown for the banner stated 240 days, and many ended up believing that the next update is 240 days away. Well, the good news is that it is only a placeholder date, and we should get the update much earlier, in all probability.
How To Get Free Primogems For Genshin Impact 2.7 Update Delay Compensation Rewards
miHoYo today announced the compensation for the unprecedented delay of the 2.7 Update. In ablog post, it mentions that a compensation comprising of Primogem x400, Fragile Resin x1, Hero’s Wit x7, Mystic Enhancement Ore x16, and Mora x 120,000 will be issued every week until the update is released. It should be noted that the rewards may change for a week if the update comes earlier. That is, if the update is released within a week of the previous weekly compensation, then the final compensation will not be the same as the one mentioned above. Instead, it will be adjusted according to the number of days delayed. The rewards will be given out every Wednesday at 04:00 server time via the in-game mail.
So far, there is no official news about the release date of the 2.7 Update. PopularGenshin Impactinsiders have suggested that the update could possibly come out in the next couple of weeks, but miHoYo has not provided any hints that confirm that. That doesn’t mean the leak isn’t true, it could be very much possible that insiders have given the correct estimate. However, considering the uncertainty of the entire situation, it is not surprising that miHoYo is waiting until it is actually ready to release the update.
